Life Issues
Well this thread is exactly what its title dictates, a place to talk about life issues. This is a place to seek advice or to simply vent about the difficulties of the offline world.

Ah, this must be the topic you mentioned....^^;;
Okay I'll give it a try and vent out my stress/frustrations.
Here's the basis of it; I'm getting kicked out at the end of the month (in 7 days), and I was recently fired, so I'm jobless and not only that but I have nowhere to go, and they expect me to live on my own or with someone else, who probably can't handle the burden of another person right now.
So they're giving me a difficult and irritating choice, enlisting into the military....it's the last F@cking thing I want to do.....and I'm on the edge of struggling with the fact that it may be the only choice that I actually have...
Any advice? Suggestions? Or perhaps a hug or a pat on the back...? sweatdrop

If you're close to me I could use a roommate and I can pay the first few months of rent on my own until you get a job and stuff.

So lets see if I can make this a somewhat decient request....
So I have a lot of friends online, a few of which I'd hope would be in this guild, and with that I form a lot of bonds with those friends. I talk a lot with many of them and from fairly close relationships with many of them... ... ... now I'm beating around the bush...
Ok, There are times when a few of my friends come to me with their problems and just need to talk or vent or whatever. I do my best to help them as much as I can, and I know that even just listening can help... but afterwords I always wish I could help out more, just go that extra inch or so to make them feel better...
but other then being there for them and offering advice while listening to their poblems I can't do anything else.
What I'm asking is if anyone knows how to help your friends beyond just being a chat buddy sweatdrop

I've had to do it a few times, sometimes on the phone and whatnot. If it's financial problems you could always try to help them with that, but then you have to take their word at face value that they really need the money, still if you're close friends it's really your decision as to what you do and do not do.

Well, I've decided....instead of moving into a shelter and risk getting robbed, mugged, or better yet shot...
I've decided to enlist into the Navy.....I'll be going to a recruiter tommorrow, and from there on, I'll be updating my journal which I'll make accessable to anyone for those of you who are interested in learning about my life when I'm in the military and whatnot....

Wow..another person goes to the Navy. The brother of a friend of mine just got sent off to boot camp last week. Just..don't believe about half of what the recruiter tells you. They're like car salesmen... Good luck though! I'm Bristi by the way, sorry to have missed you this past month and..a half I think?

I guess I'm not really venting or seeking advice as much as seeking good luck.
Bristi is in a play...and performing today in fact. One is done..but the big one's at 7pm. So far everything's running smoothly...but you never know..a good luck could go a long way. I'm told I make an adorable ranger....but my costume shirt is a little tight. And every now and then, that middle button keeps driving me crazy by slipping out of the buttonhole. So! Cross your fingers and hope that Bristi remains un-embarrassed on the stage.
Love ya'll!

Hey, I forgot what I was going to say because I just noticed that I have 777 gold right now. You must have not been embarrassed by good fortune.

An update of sorts;
In the end I enlisted into the Navy. I won't be shipped out until December 14th. After boot camp I'll be going to school so I can be a Master of Arms, the navy version of an MP.^^;;
If all goes well, once I become an MA, I'll probably be stationed in Japan at my request.
