it's about a boy, named ichigo (strawberry xd ), who can see ghosts.
one day he sees a girl who claims to be a soul reaper, while talking to her (more like arguing with her, by the way her name is rukia) they are attacked by a monster.
rukia is injured protecting him, then tries to give ichigo some of her powers so he can fight the monster, but for some reason instead of just getting some of her powers he absorbs them all. after defeating the monster he wakes up in bed, when he goes to his school he finds(to his horror) that rukia is now attending his school. she informs him that he is now a soul reaper and will have to take over her job until her powers return, needless to say he isn't too happy about that blaugh
