Well, my friend was over for dinner once right? Well, I think this was they're first time that they were over and eating with us with a normal meal. As in, normal Chinese meal. We had vegetables, fish, etc.
Yeah. About the fish. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one here that has a family that steams fish, puts it on a plate and eats everything attatched to the fish, that is edible. Well, my friend here, probably doesn't.
They eat the ones that come in boxes. The fillets you microwave or do a quick cook from the supermarket.
They watched my mom eat the fish's head. They watched me take out the bones on the fish. They watched us...like we were aliens. They watched the fish like 'Poor fish...'
My dad brought up the fact about the fish in Cantonese, so they wouldn't understand.
We all found it hilarious. xP
Happen to you before? Or anything similiar?

I ate like that millions of times! With salmon and other types of fish.
But I never eaten steamed fish with people that are not asian before....
