We all read the Anita Blake books. So my question is do you think werewolves, vampires, or other weres are real. Or do you think they are just stories to be told and written about. I personally think they are real but maybe im just crazy.

Nope. I think there are diseases which can cause attributes of vampirism or lycanthropy, but not true vampires or weres. Hell, I know a guy with fangs. Dental problems, unfortunately.
It'd be kind of cool if they did exist, but, I don't think there's real evidence of vampires like the ones in AB:VS.

Nope dont really believe it but I do agree that their are sertain things that occur in nature that created/fueled the myths, I, myself, would be a perfect example of a person that in the past could have fulled the vampire myth. I was born missing my adult...not front teeth but the ones beside them on top and bottom, so my K-9's shifted over into their place. It by all means looked like I had fangs...untill grade 10 when I got them bonded over to look normal. I also have really pale skin and dont tan. and thus the vampire myth was fueled mwahahahaha jk jk but by all meens I had a physical appearance the fell under the lines defined as vampire.

i say it's real, but not like everyone thinks. i agree with what the other posters said, to an extent, but everybody's got to remember that every story is rooted in fact, yes?

i think there must be some truth behind it........ people were actually burnt alive for being werewolves just like they were if accused of being witches. but i agree with StarAngelKitty. i have sort of fang shaped front teeth and i have pale skin and don't tan so some people may show signs of vampirism but i don't know about the whole people turning into animals, i just think people have a violent animal like nature.

In the same sense as in the Anita Blake books?
Much as we might wish otherwise, no.
But there are people who exist on a blood diet, and there are people who have odd physical/mental changes come over them under the full moon.
For those of you who are really interested in the issue, there was a kinda nifty featurette on the Underworld DVD. I think it was the Special Edition one, but it might have been the regular one. Basically, they went around researching occurences of vampirism and lycanthropy, providing some compelling (and some less compelling) evidence in favor of their existence.

I think it would be scientifically.. biologically impossible.. but I think it would be arrogant to say that it doesn't exist somewhere in the world, because there is so much that we just don't know. There's always that possibility, and science is always expanding.
