A swift breeze crosses the city of Kochimai, as a heavy rainstorm is brewing. Dark clouds cover the sky, blocking out all but a tiny ray of light...
Still, the Starlight Swords are having their daily rally for Prince Roshimu outside Kochimai castle. Everyday, it's the same thing. Several unfortunate passerbys (either Goldenwing Sun or neutral) have passed by, not joined in, and have subsequently beaten to death.
However, the Suns aren't any better. On the opposite side of town, at their 'secret' meeting place, they plan a new campaign for Prnice Endoba. While the number of people they have killed is less than half of the Swords, they still have blood on their hands.
Rain, in large, heavy drops, begins to fall. A clap of lightning temporarily illuminates the city. Thunder quickly follows, drowning out the voices of the Swords. The don't move, or complain about the rain. The just sit and wait.
Outside the city, in Lei forest, the storm affects those locals. Currently planning their attack on the oblivious people of Kochimai, the rain prevnts them from continuing as they head indoors. Several faeries are missing, sent on scouting missions to Kochimai. Vengeance is near.
And the rain continued to fall, uninterupted by the hatred brewing...

Mayumi Tenshi was hard at work. Well, as hard as you can work dressed as a cat person wandering aound in lingirie. She walked over to a table where a fat, balding, middle-aged man had just sat down.
Using her most vapid-sounding giggle, and sluttiest voice, and she said "Hello, sir! My name is Ai and I'll be your waitress for this evening! What can I get you?"
The man turned to her. "Two pints of your cheapest lager," he said gruffly. "And make it snappy."
She smiled emptily and went over two the bar. She brought him back his drink. "There you are, sir," she said. "If there's anything else I can get you, please let me know!"
She turned to walk away, but her fake tail was grabbed. She faced the man again. "Yes, sir?"
"A lapdance." He turned to one side and coughed. "Now."
She smiled again. "Of course, sir, I'll go see who's available!" She tried to walk away again, but he kept holding her tail.
"No," said the man, "I want one from you."
"From me?" asked Mayumi. "But sir, I'm a waitress, not a dancer. If you'd just let me go..."
He pulled her tail roughly, so that she fell onto his lap. "NOW!" he commanded.
Mayumi stood up. "Sir, it's not my job. There are plenty of other girls here, and I'm sure one of them would be pleased to..."
"NO!" yelled the man.
"YES!" yelled Mayumi, kicking him quite swiftly in the balls. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have a table to attend."
And she walked away.

Hotaru ran into the small bar and sat down at the counter as she sat down, she saw a drunken man trying to get a lapdance from one of the waitresses.
She sighed as she look away from the scene. "Geez, men will never learn these days." Hotaru said as she waited for the bartender to serve her.
When the bartender have finally arrived to serve Hotaru, he ask what most bartenders would ask to a customer. "What can I get you this fine evening?"
"I'm fine, thank you. Actually, the reason I came here was to ask if I could get a job here." Hotaru said to the bartender.
"Hmm." The bartender thought as he rubbed his chin. "You might be able to, but what are you willing to do? By the look at you, you would probably be best as a waitress." The bartender suggested.
"It doesn't matter, really. As long as if it isn't being a lapdancer then I am fine." Hotaru told the bartender as she fiddled with her fingers.
"I see. Well, wait here. I'm going to go ask the boss and see what he have to say about you." The bartender said to Hotaru as he walked out of the bar.

Like any other hardworking person, Lily was busy in her shop -- helping adventurers supply for their latest...well, adventure. "Would you like anything else?" she asked sweetly as she placed the literally double edged sword on the counter with the other items they were purchasing.
The man who was most likely their leader blushed at her. "U-um well..." as he placed his hand over his head. The woman who was with him elbowed his ribs and he hung over in pain. "That's all we need." she said, obviously jealous.
Lily laughed nervously. [Another day, another soon to be couple] she thought pleasently in her mind. She took up the items and calculated them as she picked them up and counted.
As soon as the adventurers said their goodbyes, Lily sat in her chair that was in the corner that was slightly turned in a 45 degree angle as it looked out in the shop.
She sighed. She was very very tired. Today was certainly tiring. She hoped that someone interesting might happen in the kingdom since the rebels haven't caused any trouble that she knew of.

Mayumi saw a girl standing at the bar that she'd never seen before. She was kinda dressed like she worked here, but more the 15% of her skin was covered. And she looked younger than Mayumi, who was working here with a false ID.
She left the man writhing in pain on the floor and walked up to the girl.
"Hi, I'm Ai." She smiled lightly at the girl. "You work here?"

A spring tune reveals a May moon...
Her tears mercilously beat upon the roofs of the town, she waits for her marriage so that her offspring, summer will look over the lands. She looks upon Kochimai, at the feuding races and weeps for them.
A happy, spring tune plays in the market square, as a young man dressed in a worn, ragged, brown habit plays for his meal. He is happy as the rain pours down on his raven like hair, he continues to play as if he were playing for a prince in his royal hall, instead he plays for the entertainment of three small children huddled underneath an umbrella who are clapping along, together they begin to hum the musician's song along with the young mans flute.

As she heard a voice talking to her, she looks up to find the waitress, who was asked to give a lapdance to the drunken man, standing next to her.
"Oh, hello. I'm Hotaru. I'm not working here yet, I'm waiting for the bartender to come back with his boss. Hopefully, I am able to work here. You see, I just came into this town just a couple of days ago and I have been trying to find a job these past few days." Hotaru said to Mayumi.
A few seconds later, the bartender returned with his boss. "Oh, I see you have met Ai." The bartender said. "I would like to introduce you to our boss."
"Hmm, I suppose this is the girl who wants to get a job here?" The boss said to the bartender.
"Why yes, she is." The bartender said to his boss. "She said she'll will do anything as long as it's not being a lapdancer." Said the bartender. "I told her that she would probably be best as an waitress. What do you think?"
"I see, she does look like she has a bit of innocence in her though, which would probably be best if she's a lapdancer. Since men these days seem to be interested in innocent ladies" the boss said outloud, "but I suppose it would be for the best if she becomes a waitress."
"Oh, thank you. You don't know how much this means to me. I have been searching for a job for a couple of days now." Hotaru said as she stood up. "When do I start?" She asked politely.
"You can start today." The boss said responding to Hotaru's question. "Oh yes. Ai, can you assist the new girl for a couple of days, until she gets the hang of things? And shouldn't you be working right now?" The boss asked Mayumi as he raised his eyebrow in question.
"Don't worry about the boss, he has his good days as well as his bad days. Today is just one of his bad days." The bartender whispered to Hotaru.
"Umm, okay." Hotaru replied. She watched as the boss leaves to his office. "So, do I need to change or anything?" She asked Mayumi.
"Before I forget, it's going to take awhile to get to know every employes' names. I'm Joe, so if you need any help with anything feel free to ask me or any other employes that happen to be working." Joe said to Hotaru before he began working once more.

Mayumi giggled. "I am working now, boss!"
"Oh really?" he inquired.
"Kiiiiiiiinda..." she smiled.
The boss rolled his eyes, exasperated. "I realize your job is mostly to be eye candy, by for the love of the gods, get back to work!"
She smiled coyly. "Yes, boss, I'm on it!"
Mayumi waited for Hotaru to stop talking, then grabbed her hand and pulled her off to the side.
"I'll take you to the back, where you can put on your... uh... 'uniform'..." she said, kindly.

Hotaru felt a small force pulling her away from the bar counter.
"Huh? Oh alright." Hotaru said as she was being dragged into the "back". How long have you been working here?" She asked Mayumi, trying to start up a conversation with her new co-worker.

Mayumi dug through the closet in the back.
"Uh... about 2 months now... probably gonne be working here for a few years, if I'm not lucky," she said, distracted. "What size do you wear?" She looked up.

"Not as hard as you'd think," she responded, digging through the closet again. "Boss says that the happiness of his girls comes first. I mean, did you see me sack that guy earlier? I won't get in trouble for that, because he was harassing me."
Mayumi pulled a black and pink tiger-striped lingerie set out of the closet. "This colour okay? I think we have blue and yellow, too..."

"That b*****d in particular has been coming since I can remember. Everyday, he wants me to dance for him, and I keep telling him 'no'. He says he likes the fact that I look like a purebread Angel, which is ridiculous." Mayumi shook her head. "Because I always tell him that I'm part Siren and Spectre, too. I think my Spectre shows more than anything, eh?"
