Open Photoshop to start with
1) open up a picture you want to add rain to on Photoshop
2) make a new layer and fill it with black using the paint bucket tool
3) now go to filter>noise> add noise
4) tick monochromatic on the bottom and select uniform
5) insert 170 as a number into where you can c amount=
6) now go to filter>blur> motion blur and insert angle= -60 and
distance 40
7) now on the layers palette
8_) once you have done this repeat steps 2-7 3 times
9) when you have made a few layer click on the eye next to the layer in the layers pallet
10) click on these to hide the layers ( only hide the layers u created the rain on)
11) click on this to take this to image ready
12) in image ready go to window (on to top bar) and make sure animation is selected.
13) Now un hide 1 rain layer ( the little eye )
14) Now click duplicate frame
15) No hide the layer u just un-hid and un hide another layer
16) Repeat steps 14 and 15 until all the rain layers have a animation frame
17) Once you have done this give each of the frames a delay of 0.1 secs do this by clicking on the delay tab
18_) Change the delay to 0.1 for all of the frames
19) Now save this normally in any place
20) To save it as a “.gif ” file go to save optimized as on file and then click save you can now upload this on to the internet using and site
