If it was Gel or Spray then the hair wouldn't move like it does when he's laying down or on his motorbike. My hair stands straight up naturally (heh heh heh cool Pay no attention to my signature, My hair was really long when that pic was taken, but you just can't tell because it curls up so you can't see how long it is... my hair shorter now. xd ).... the trick is getting it to come Down... gonk
Now Sephiroth... HIS hair is really something. Whatever product he uses to keep it straight and heavy like that kicks a**, because it's fire proof too, even when he's standing in the Middle of a burning town. That's not the standard Off-The-Shelf hair straightner. blaugh

I'm pretty sure it's natural! I mean, it's all spiky looking but it looks all soft and chopped up in the wind. But... it could be some sorta magical hair gel.
