I have been to Italy. It is amazing. And I am a huge rabid WHR lover. Especially Amon. Now, it is amazing, because alot of the buildings and themes in WHR are identical to Italy. the Iron gates, cafe layouts it was amazing.
But you know what the best part was? I didn't find an Amon...that was sad, i was so looking for one too. BUT I did find a STORE called AMON.
I was simply walking down the street and suddenly I look up and there is this HUGE white sign with the word AMON on it. IT WAS AN EGYPTIAN BAKERY!! XD
The men in Italy are certainly around Amon standard though...just need to find one...hee...we found one that was almost close.
Also. Did you know. Amon was the Egyptian sex god?
His face was of a bull and thats where the turn HORNY comes from. XD
Sex God.
HAHAH. Suits Amon fine I think.

xD Yeah... I read this really, -really- good WHR fanfic once and a lot of it took place in Italy. I guess it is connected somehow. @_@
Heh. I'd totally shop at a store called AMON. XD Pig out on the bread and scare the people working there.
Ehhh... I wouldn't say that... sweatdrop My dad's from Italy, and I have a buttload of family in Italy as we speak... I don't really find Italians that attractive. @_@ [Yes, I'm calling myself ugly. XD] Some are, I suppose... but those I've seen I don't like that much. xD

No problemo. It really did make me laugh though. Kudos to you. xd
Oh but really. The GATES esepcially. I mean, in Italy there was like a big black iron gate in front of every door. Japan is more hightech and glass-like. They clashed both cultures together and the outcome was crazy! Just architecture was amazing and related so much to the series. It was beautiful.

I don't completely understand...WHR takes place in Tokyo, so why is there so much Italian architecture? I mean, we all know Robin grew up in Italy, but it's not like the whole world has the same style as Italy...what I'm trying to say is, why does Japan have so much Italian architecture in this particular series and not in others?? Is it just b/c the main girl is from there? If so, that would be kinda dumb...since there are so many other anime series that try to recapture Tokyo's look (Watching the episodes again, I remember hearing someone say that that was the city they were in)...>.>

Then again, they might have wanted it to seem slightly more traditional-the surroundings and everything. Cause when you think about it, Methuselah-obaachan lecturing Robin about the history of the world would be a bit ironic and almost laughable if they're surrounded by, like, flashing billboards and all that stuff. Yknow?

I swear, I live near a building that looks identical to Harry's, but its a car wash supply center. And a glass center.. I'll take a picture of it and post it. Crazy.
