A rather odd wild dog paced out in the open under the evening sky. Her orange and white tail flicked back and forth as she seemingly talked to herself.
She probably wouldn't have noticed a stampeding herd of elephants if they ran right behind her, she was so deep in discussion with... herself.

Kiji trotted around the side of a small hill and found himself only a few yards away from an orange female, apparently deep in thought....or something. "Hello there." He called happily, tail wagging behind him. He trotted a little closer then reclined to his haunches, cocking his head at her as he heard her talking to herself.

Kweu jumped back, her ears going back in alarm. When she saw it was just another wild dog, she relaxed a bit, but still looked guarded. She paced out of reach of the male and sat down, eyeing him warily.
"Hello..." she said in a breezy voice that sounded unsure. She still wasn't very comfortable around other dogs. She wasn't afraid anymore, but comfort was a different story altogether. She glanced to one side and shrugged her shoulders.
"I donno, now shhh."

Kiji tilted his head back into it's normal resting position and widened his eyes, a little shocked. "Excuse me?" He said, trying to be polite as possible, but not really sure why this female had looked at him like he was a raging lion or something, and then told him to be quiet. It made no sense, but he wasn't one to get angry quickly, unless his lovely Yuka was in trouble or being threatened. But that was a different kind of angry, and that didn't happen too often, since she rarely left his side now.

Kweu looked back to the male and blinked.
"I wasn't talking to you, except for the hello," she stated, rather matter-of-factly. She sighed and wondered why in the world no one else could see her friend. I mean, he's not that hard to spot. A big bright bird like him? she thought to herself looking at her friend. He'd been with her ever since she was a pup, when her family treated her lower than the dirt under their paws and she didn't have a friend in the whole world, not even her own mother and father.
"It's not his fault. You should just be quiet right now, okay?" she said, looking to her side again.
