Chiboa trotted happily through the tall Savannah grass. He licked his maw, the taste of rabbit still mingling on his tongue. The male rogue lifted his chin up to the sky, taking in the scents of the world around him from the downwind, which blew his way and ruffles his over-grown fur.

After meeting up with Bini, and walking away from her (quite quickly) the masked male found himself wandering somewhere. Where that somewhere was, no one seemed to know. His pink gaze looked around, spotting nothing, not even the slightest form of life! When the savannah grasses swayed, you could probably guess it was the wind, but today seemed to be a very hot, dry day. There was no breeze.
And then a scent entered the air, followed the a nose sticking from the grasses. AHA So another was around. Kale smirked, hoping this newcomer was a female. Oh...that would be wonderful.

Chiboa stopped in his tracks and peered around. His maw opened slightly as he breathed in. Another was near. After meeting the kind wild dog Mboni, he was foolishly less intimidated by a stranger; he showed this by drooping his bushy tail and swaying it slightly.
"Hello?", his scruffy voice called out, hoping there was prey to steal. His lips curled into a grin at the thought of it.

A gruffy voice. Unless this newcomer was like..the man sounding female, Kale was definetaltly NOT interested. "Who are you?" He sneered, his tail flicking straight out behind him. No use for Hellos from the masked male if you weren't a female I guess. How rude~!

"Chiboa", he growled under his breath. This male did not sound happy to see him, and neither was he. "And you?", he sneered, flicking his flea-bitten tail in authority and stepping out of the tall grasses, exposing his dusty grey coat.

"Kale." He snarled back. Damn this stranger for not being a female. He could really go for some more fun time now that Mboni wasn't around. Kale narrowed his pink eyes towards the male. He didn't like how this one held himself. Perhaps he was an alpha or something? Hah, probably not. No alpha would disgrace themselves looking like that!
A quiet conversation, eh? XD

Chiboa rolled back his neck and stretched his back legs. "Kale, eh?", he grumbled, sizing the male up. There was a look of unpleasantness upon this other male's face, and the rogue pondered leaving the grumpy wild dog or challenging him.
"What'cha doing on these parts of the savannah, ne?", Chiboa finally growled, taking a whiff of the male. He smelled like Mboni. Odd.

"Got a problem with it?" He asked, still narrowing his eyes on Chiboa. "If so, speak now," He yapped, his fangs bared slightly. Oh boy, no fights now. Kale was becominng territorial? That was weird, especially for the masked male.
"It's called wandering. Unless they are your lands," At this, he looked around. "Which I highly doubt, then last I checked they were free to be wandered." He sneered again. Perhaps the smell of Mboni that lingered on this one's fur made him iffy. Wait...hadn't she mentioned something about a stubborn male who hadn't wanted food or something? Perhaps he was it? "Tell me, do you know of Mboni?"

Chiboa narrowed his eyes, steadily returning the harsh gaze. "No", he answered dryly, letting his neck fur lay flat. "I was just wondering", he said with a sharp shrug.
"I am a rogue. To a rogue, there are no lands that belong to another. Just the earth, to belong to..", Chiboa started, but trailed off at the mention of Mboni. He'd have to be careful about how to answer to this 'Kale'.
"Yeah", he said casually with a slight shrug, "the lass forced a rabbit on me", he said with a small chuckle.

"Hmph." Kale shrugged, letting his guard down slightly. Even though he hated other males, he did like how this one spoke. "I see." He said shortly, pink eyes gazed towards the other male, widening slightly before narrowing at his answer. He gave a brief smirk. "Forced a rabbit on you eh?" Either Kale had a very wrong mind, or Chiboa worded that really wrongly. "So you are the one she spoke of the other day."

"Yes", he grumbled, "caught a rabbit and left me with it to eat. It was", he paused, "kind."
"Whether I was spoken of, only you would know", he said with a smirk. Chiboa glanced over his shoulder, looking hesitantly away. He didn't need a fight, and this Kale seemed angry enough to start one.

"And you don't like kind gestures?" He grunted. "How rude, not to except a lady's generous offer of a meal." He snorted, turning his head from the other adult.
His eyes narrowed. That last comment seemed a bit...snerky to him. A low growl emitted from his throat. However, he held his ground. What was the use of fighting? Kale wasn't one to fight...unless it was for a female. And, I don't think Chib here was looking to steal Mboni from him.

Chiboa peered curiously at the cranky male, determining how to react to such harsh words. He crooked his neck from side to side and gave a laugh.
"I did accept the lady's offering", he snickered, flicking his tail to and fro. "It was kind of her", he said, pausing, "but I do like to do things on my own, even though I needed it. There was nothing to ste-- catch for miles."
Chiboa backed away slightly. This male was unpredictable and moody, not a very good combination for a wild dog who had already been through a fight recently.

Kale scoffed as Kale mentioned he had accepted the offering. Pah, Mboni should have /never/ attempted such deed! His eyes narrowed (more, if that was even possible) as the masked male caught the fault in Chib's comment. "Did you thank her?" He growled. If he didn't....
Well, it didn't really matter. Chiboa was backing away now meaning he was giving up. "Hmph." Kale grumbled, being quite angsty today as he as well moved away. "I don't want to hear you talking to Mboni again." He woofed, growling slightly. Moody and protective much of the adult female? Perhaps of any adult female he had come to be... 'acquainted with'.

Chiboa nodded, backing farther away. "I didn't have the opportunity to thank the lass personally", he said, pausing, "the lass trotted off before I could mention it. I did give her a nod of thanks. I'm sure she caught it", he said hesitantly.
"No", he said with a dip of his head in agreement. This wild dog was not one to mess with, he was sure of that. "I won't speak to her again, if that is what you wish. I have myself a lady of my own, anyways", he said with a small grin, and looked hesitantly over his shoulder.
"I think I've got .. somewhere to go", he said with a fake laugh, his dusty blue eyes filling with nervousness. He didn't want to be caught in this situation any further.
