I remember when Pokemon Red and Blue came out and I found out about the Missingno. glitch that gives you hundreds of whatever item was in the 6th item slot. I was repeating it with Rare Candy, Master Balls, Nuggets, Bicycle, you name it. I DID just say "Bicycle". I figured that because they cost so much the first time you went into the shop, if you managed to get more than one, you could sell the extras for hundreds of dollars!
I also caught one of the other glitches, the "M" glitch. It was a level zero Pokemon that, if you use a Rare Candy on, evolved into Kangaskahn. I actually used it in battle and it automatically grew to level 100 before becoming a Kangaskahn. But before it evolved, I had taught it the "Fly" HM. Now anybody who's played Pokemon knows that an evolving Pokemon retains it's move set. I had a flying Kangaskahn!
Then about a year ago, I read about a much, less-known glitch in Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow that would cause you to find Mew. I knew that many Mew tricks were fake, but fired up my antiquated copy of Pokemon Blue and started a new file. I played through exactly how the site had explained. Lo and behold! The screen flashed and a wild level 7 Mew appeared!
Discuss: Exploiting glitches in games to get what you want. Wild Mew. Flying Kangaskahn.

There's one part of Baldur's Gate 2 where the Druid Glade is under the control of a real b***h Druid chick. You have to challenge her to some sort of traditional battle for leadership where you can't wear any armor and both people get a generic quarterstaff for a weapon. Lemme tell ya, that chick was tough. xp Then I read online that if you have your other party members stand around the ring where the druids fight, you can swap items between your party and the fighter. So I gave my druid's armor to my other party members before the challenge, and equipped it all once the challenge started. It helped a ton since I have armor and weapons with magic attributes. pirate

mysticneko I know. I wish I knew that Mew trick. I did the missingno trick. That was pretty sweet. whee The Mew Glitch can be found here. You can try it, or try the emulator, or whatever. But it really works in the Game Boy games which is the coolest part.

I loved the missingno glitch. I got all my pokemon to level 100 with it on my red version and then pwned everyone else who didn't know the glitch. The only thing that bothered me about the m Kangaskahn trick was that my Hall of Fame record got all messed up with weird symbols and stuff after I caught m.

Catching Missingno made Mew appear in my hall of records... I was like... "WTF?!?!"
But I didn't know you could actually catch Mew without the use of a Gameshark. I'll remember it from now on. ^_^ Thanks for the tip!
I always remembered having fun exploting the glitches of Zelda games... Like walking around as Fierce Deity... and making arrows float in the air... xd

What you can do is if you have another cart and Gameboy, trade it from one to the other, start a new game in the source cart, and then trade it back.

Mikomi Rae Catching Missingno made Mew appear in my hall of records... I was like... "WTF?!?!" But I didn't know you could actually catch Mew without the use of a Gameshark. I'll remember it from now on. ^_^ Thanks for the tip! I always remembered having fun exploting the glitches of Zelda games... Like walking around as Fierce Deity... and making arrows float in the air... xd Speaking of Zelda glitches. Well, it's not really a glitch, but it is a lot of fun. In Link's Awakening you can steal stuff from the store in the starting town. You're usually supposed to pick up the item you can afford and carry it to the cashier to buy it, but if you maneuver really fast around the cashier a few times, you'll be able to slip out of the store while he's still trying to turn and watch you handle his items, and you get a free item! If you go in the store after that, the guy is standing right in front of you and says something like "I told you to pay for that. Now you'll pay the ultimate price" and he shoots you with lightning until you die. You can't escape it either, but all that happens is you come back to life with the item still in your posession, but everyone in the game from then on calls you "Thief" instead of the name you choe in the beginning. xd
