A long, long time ago... in a galaxy far away... Naboo-- wait... that's not right! But it did start a long time ago... Cat was surfing the breedables threads when she happened upon a contest for a shoppe that had not yet opened. She decided to check it out. When she saw the lineart and the colorists that were trying for the position, she wanted in. But Cat has no computerized artistic talent... and when she says none, she means... none. So she browsed the various contests and found one that she might be able to do. A banner contest... so she did. (And they were used too... if only for a short amount of time... xd )
Now, having been at the contest thread for some time now, cat was wondering... when would the shoppe open? She was saving up for the first flat sale, and wanted dearly to have a lion of her own. So she asked, "Ushi... when is the shoppe going to open?" Ushi replied with "I'm not sure... but since you've been here since the beginning... If it's alright with Rev, you could probably get a lion now..."
And that was that. Rev agreed and Cat was hooked. From there, the obsession began, and after a short hiatus in september/october, Cat was back and brought all her lions with her.

Kichea is an independant sort of girl. She is often hard-headded about taking advice and help from others, because she feels she must prove herself. Often considered rebellious, she disregards rules in order to do what she may percive as 'right'. Though when in danger, or in a troubling situation, she accepts help and advice, without question. She is extreamly kind, if others look past her rough exterior.
+Distinct Markings+
Kichea is black, with crimson red leopard spots coming up her legs, fading into black before reaching her abdomen. Her flecks are dark grey, as are her tail feathers, which also have red leopard spots on the tips. Her eyes are ruby red, tying into her 'color scheme'.
+Likes and Dislikes+
Kichea love hunting, wheather for fun, or for the kill. She hopes to be the huntress in her pride one day. She likes sunny weather, and when the sun comes out after a storm. She likes the dawn, and butterflies. Dispite what she may say, she actually does like being bathed by her mother IKICHI. Even though she doesn't like heavy rain, she does, however, like light showers. And the night. Kichea likes warm nights.
Kichea dislikes being offered help when she hasn't asked for it, and dislikes when others dont tell the truth. She dislikes any type of creepy crawlies... beetles, worms, caterpillars, and spiders for instance. She doesn't like thunder, or lightning, and heavy rain. She normally cowers at her mother's side when harsh weather is at hand.

Alrighteh. Kichea, is swahili for three things. Brightness, Clearing after a rain storm, and Dawn. Hence the reason, those things, are as listed above, some of her favorite things.

Sakitu is as innocent as it gets. Shes naturally nice to anyone, and is deeply hurt when others are rude or mean to her. She can, however, be very sly and devious, though mostly only to those who offend her.

Sakitu is an odd lion. She has the markings of a snow leopard, setting her apart from others. Perhaps her personality is a ploy to get others to over look her coat?
+Likes and Dislikes+
Sakitu likes the rain, and snow. She loves cold morning when you can see your breath, and evenings when the stars are perfectly visible. She likes friends, and being loved.
Sakitu dislikes extreamly hot days, and being in the sun too long. She also dislikes others who are rude, or mean. She can often hold a grudge if they are.

Harry is a bit of a trouble maker, though he's normally very lucky and gets out of tight spots with nary a scratch. He's smart, there's no doubt about it, but he doesn't always think things through all the way. He enjoys being a little lazy, and being with good company. Tough when ne needs to be. Determined, and loyal. Brave, to say the least.

Harry is odd. No doubt about that. He wears the gryffindor scarf and robes, and has glasses adorning his emerald green eyes. Odd, but handsome no doubt.

Harry likes to go unnoticed for the most part, but the scar on his forehead sets him apart and gets him noticed. He enjoys his friends and magic.
He dislikes the Slytherins and others that associate themselves with them, but most of all, he dislikes pity. He doesn't want to be pitied for the things he's gone through.

A curious little ball of fluff, Kaya often finds herself in the pit of trouble. She doesn't take 'no' for an answer and is determined to find everything out for herself. She's smart, with all the things she discovers and all the expiriences she's had, but is always yearning to know more.

Kaya is a base of a steel blue with frosty colored snowflakes on her body. A frosty mask across her eyes and two matching rings around her paws.

Kaya loves learning. Her curiosity fuels her desire to expirience the best, and worst of everything. She's always wondering what-ifs and what the other choice might have lead to.

The name Kaya came to me just as the contest was beginning... I was playing Kya: Dark Lineage on my Ps2 for like, the 80th time and I thought it suited her. After winning second place, I got to pick one of three lions. having been a fan of rev's coloring, I picked her. (and I had my eyes on her since the beginning of the contest... :3)

Shairi is a fun loving girl who could careless about alot of things, unless it directly affects her. She could be called selfish, though she's far from it. She loves those around her with a passion that could rival anyone elses, and would die for them if the situation arose. She takes after her mother in more ways than one, though as she grows, she may change.

A clack coat that matches her mothers, and the same leopard spots adron her pelt, though in a different manner. The crimson is pink, and they reside on her back paws and her hind quarters. A weaving design on her front right paw, inherited from her father, as well as the light blue tail feathers with black stripes and leopard spots.
+Likes and Dislikes+
Shairi loves to sing, and her voice is something to be heard. A soft, sweet sound like a lyre on the wind, her poetry becomes her song, and her art is her voice. She enjoys playing with her siblings, Jayvyn and Essence, and joining her mother on the hunt.
She dislikes when she or her family is insulted, and sees to it that the offender pays.

Amirah likes her siblings, to say the least, she enjoys playing with them. She also likes mimicking her mother, trying to be every bit her shadow.

Xiao is a sweety to say the least. She loves to play and havve fun. She's the calmer of the two sisters, and prefers to end fights instead of start them. Since she's so close to her sister, Kun Yi, she tends to rely on her alot. Very dependant, calm, and loving.

Xiao is a theme of cobalt blue and yellow. A chinese phoenix encrusts her azure fur, like a golden symbol from the sky.

Xiao loves her sister like no other. Since they were abandoned when their mother died, they are very close. She loves to play, though Kun Yi isn't always up to it. She likes butterflies and the sunshine.
She doesn't like the night time, since thats when her mother died. She dislikes being lonely and when she's alone she tends to cry. She doesn't like when people are mean to her or her sister.

She has four orange 'earring' like marks. Around her Left Eye she has a neon/electric blue marking... a large circle and two intersecting smaller circles... Orange swirls/curls/spiraly things on her back extending to her hindquarters. Her left front paw is orange, ending in a zigzagy pattern. Her back left paw has a spiraly ring of the neon blue around her eye wrapping around her leg. Her back right paw has 2 zig zag rings around her ankle region.

Nuika likes to make up stories, not lies, but stories to tell others. She's a daydreamer, and likes to fantasize about what could be, or what-ifs.

Jing is red, with the Wonka 'W' below his left eye in a pale yellowish color. With some crazy chinese markings in the same color repeating on his backside and his paw, this little guy is sure to be a handsome devil.
