Alright! New project!
Seeing as how I'll have some free time now that I'm outta school and such, I figure I'd open up RPG Maker again and attempt to make an RPG again. My previous attempt was for my bar, but I lost all my data in a reformat and I don't think my friend who has the back up stuff can access it. So I figure I'd start from scratch, with an RPG about AG.
This'll be a big project, I have no idea how long it might take, but I think it'll be fun for all of us.

Welp, as I said, this'll be a really big project. When I tried it with my bar I found myself needing a sprite person (to make custom sprites), someone to help me with switches, another person to help me with the story, and everyone to help me with testing the game. So far I've talked to Atemu about doing sprites but if any of you are interested in helping, feel free to post here or IM me. It can range from helping me with the story (which I know some of you will want to do), helping design the maps, I need someone to help me with switch coding (I'm not sure exactly how to describe it, but if one of you guys have used RPG Maker before, you know what I'm talking about), and other jobs that might pop up.
Grand Pobah/Game Designer/Other Stuff - Zero

Hereeee~ is the big one, who will be a part of the game? Last time I tried to make one, I had everyone in my bar as a character, great idea, but it ended up being more of a hassle than necessary. SO!
If you want to be in the game, you MUST inform me. You can post here, PM me, IM me, any way you can think of. Just tell me if you want to be in the game or not.
Also, I'm bad with impersonating peoples' personalities, so if you want to write your own script with your personality, tell me. Otherwise, your persona may seem off, heh.

Story Thus Far
Well after some rather hilarious brainstorming during the AG chat last night, we've got a little bit of the story worked.
The story opens with Pi, the grand robot bard who leads a traveling group bards across the world. As time progresses, Pi notices that her bards are disappearing and she fears that she may be next, what's worse though, is that her only good guitar was in the hands of one of the bards that disappeared. So Pi sets off on her journey to find her bards, along the way she meets Zely, Skizz, and Mala.
The group finds out the bards have been devoured by the fearsome Streamjumper, the Gator Prime. They find him and begin a battle where Stream destroys the party and devours them. However, unlike his other Lunchmeats, this party does not fall so quickly to the power of the Gator and they begin to fight their way out of his horrendous gullet.
Upon making their escape they encite another battle with the Gator (unlike the first battle, you can't die here), they prove to the Gator they are worthy of his presence and he joins them.

What We Need
How does Pi meet Zely, Skizz, and Mala?
How do they find out about Stream?
How long is their journey before encountering the Gator?
Anything else that might pop up.
We still need a reason why the story continues, are we set on the Lanzer Kiddy Porn Ian Robot?

Individual Character Stories
This will be used to note the stories of each of the characters in the game so that we may work the story.
Pi Pi is the Grand Robot Bard Leader, she leads a group of merry bards across the world. As she travels, her bards begin disappearing along with her good guitar. So she sets off to find what has caused these sudden disappearances and gets her bards back. -More information later-

Streamjumper The fearsome Gator Prime. He devours anything and everything he can get his hands on, regarded as nothing else but "Lunchmeats." -More information later-

MegamanPsy The leader of the Maverick Hunters. He is from 3000 years in the future and jumps dimensions to find evil robots to capture. -More information later-

Bug Reports and Such
Re-Entering an Area Repeats a Recruit Scene/Other Scene
This has to do with switches. Switches is a piece of code that prevents these kinda things from happening. At the moment, I'm not sure how to program them, but I'll find out. -Fixed

If you're shooting for more serious, I can go with

Job : Duelist (Fighter/rogue, but heavier on the fighter than rogue)

Script: Sure.
Additional: If you can rename special abilities differently for each character, one could be pulling a musket in combat.
Or if you're going with ALL the jokes...

I think it'll be more on the light-side with a pinch of seriousness, nothing too serious though. So I'm guessing it'll just be Gator Prime? xd

I'm jumping from dimension to dimension looking for evil robots, which would be a good way to run into Pi.
