The large double doors to the arena flew open in a violent push making a loud BANG and causing a cloud of dust to rise. When the dust settled, a slender man in a black attire stood gazing up at the over exuberant croud from behind the pair of jet black shades. He slowly brought his gloved hand up to his mature and very handsom face to pick the limp cigarette from his lips. When he had the cigarette cleared of his face, a wolf-like grin spread taut across his face revealing his pearly whites.
" It's easy to see. Greed is ready to dance," his voice flowed fluidly off of his tongue and range out softly as he refered to himself. He could hear the faint sounds of a few women in the croud letting out a sigh showing how much they adored him.

Almost simultaneously, a man with long brown hair and blue warrior's garb stepped into the arena. He had a decent sized swallow attached to his back, but nothing else was shown. It didn't take too long to get about 10 feet into the arena, where he stopped. Yet, the instant he stopped he began to pull pieces of paper from his cloak, seals, which he lay around him in a circular shape.
They stuck to the ground, amazingly, even though it was just sand. Although, for now they just sat around him as he crouched, his eyes unwavering from his opponent.

Greed's cold steel eyes watched the man with no hesitation involved. Upon seeing his actions he knew the man was up to something. The sand crunched under his feet as he slowly began to walk towards his opponent who was about a good 260 feet away. His pace was slow and his composure was deadly calm. Quickly he brought his hand up to his thin lips to whip the limp cigarette from beneath their grasp. He tossed it to the side but kept his eyes on his opponent while they were concealed behind his shades.
It happened quite fast, and if someone had blinked they just might have missed it. Greed would have the first official attack. He slowly brought his right hand up to his head to run his fingers through his mess of spikey dark hair. Nobody would be able to see him do such a thing as pluck a few hairs as he did so due to the distance and the way he so cleaverly disquised the plucking in the raking of his hair with his fingers. As he pulled his hand down from his head, his powers would begin to work away at the hairs. The human like creature was quite unqiue. The hairs that he had secretly pluck would began to turn extremely hard and extremely sharp due to the rearrangement of carbon molecules in their bondings. Doing so he would turn his hairs into needles with the density of a diamond and the sharpness of a needle. The substance he had created was called "Carbon Black" due to the changing of color. Though the color would have been impossible for the human eye to see as he flicked his wrist to release five hair needles that would cut through the air like bullets from a smoking barrel. The croud would most likely miss it unless they were watching closely. Just a flicker of light through the air as the stadium lighting reflected off the steel-like luster. Two of them were aimed to peirce his throat and the other three were positioned for his upper chest; which would most likely cause damage to either the lungs and heart. Quick, silent, and deadly.

Even before the man had put his fingers through his hair, the seals had flown up and landed onto Kuralds chest, sinking into it as though he was water. As that happened he stood up to watch his opponents, procession, tribal tattoos begin to cover the skin on his face and hands. He simply grins as he sees the man brush his fingers through his hair.
He simply stands there as he watches the man throw the hair darts, and they go right for him, he doesn't move.
Yet, something was strange, they flew right to their appropriate spots, but there was no damage. They had all stopped literally a few millimeters from him, as though embedded in something beyond breaking. The needles were slowly vanishing as well.
If one looked carefully they could see a small piece of the tattoo vanish, although the change was so slight, it's doubtful that anyone would be able to tell.
He was unharmed, and with that he slowly pulls his swallow off his back, the twin blades gleaming a deep bluey-black. With his feet lowering and his weapon out in front of him, he watched his opponent with hard eyes, in a ready stance.

A single brow raised upon his forehead to build a curious look. He knew that the magical or unknown powered seals that the man had place were indeed placed for a reason but this one was beyond the young Homunculus' train of thought. Now his mind was at work and the grey hues of his eyes took everything in. His body was in sync with his mind and now things would really begin to heat up. When he fought he may have seemed to be the reckless type that may swing a sword furociously but in reality he would analyze every move down to the last varible. This defense was quite a draw back from what he had precieved from the man's looks. He would see just how far this would go.
A loud crack sounded amoungst the chittering of the croud as Greed rolled his head about on his neck. As he did so he continued to walk forward to close the gap. He positioned his head to look at the man as his pace began to grow quicker. His feet pounded away at the sandy ground in quick beats that moved his body in obscure motions. Only twenty yards away. As he did so, a blue array of light surrounded his right wrist. The skin on the bottem side of his wrist began to peel away to reveal fleshy muscle, vains, and finally bone. The bone began to expand out of the gapping hole created when his skin and flesh peeled away. Once again he would rearrange the molecules in the bone's bondings to change the shape to that of a sharper one and the density to that of daimond.
As he ran forward with a swift sprint he pulled his right hand over his chest as if to draw back before swinging. The blade of bone was two about two feet in length. He would leap upon reaching a position only about eight feet away. A great spring that would pull his body just clear over the man's head. As he flew he would turn his body to whip the blade around at the man's back intending to make a diagonal slash the would slice through his flesh like a hotknife through butter. Also his entire left arm began to gain the blue array of light, but it wouldn't do much more than that as he attacked.

Kurald chuckled as the man got closer and closer, beginning to run. Then, the moment the man leapt from the ground, he shot his hand out and yelled.
"Stasis cage!"
In an instant, there would be a yellow electrical cage surrouding Greed, round in shape. Yet the special thing about this was that it instantly sent out electrical pulses and EMP waves to paralyze a person's nerves, as well as any gadgets or the like that they possessed. Hence the name of the Stasis cage as it would basically freeze whatever was inside of it in place, and even if they managed to continue moving, the instant they touched it they would be electrocuted to an extreme degree. Also, the constant inward pulsing would keep a person in the air if they so happen to be.
The instant he had created the cage around the man, his arms had shot out and more seals flew out, covering the cage completely. Once it was completely covered he would activate the seals, creating a massive implosion which would pretty mcuh crush and obliterate anything inside of it. The stasis cage would not interfere with the implosion as the seals were on the outside of the cage.
SUM UP: Basically as you jumped, I made a stasis cage appear around you, see above for effects. Then I released a crapload of seals to cover it, and they exploded. It would happen very quickly since you'd still be supended in mid-air.

Quite the enteresting technique the man had produced. Greed would have to become serious in this fight right away, and hopefully he would finish it here and now. Greed, being unhuman, had powers that were beyond those of a normal human. He had complete body manipulation thus the reason he was able to change his bones, move flesh, and sharpen his hair. So when the EMP waves ran through his body and went straight to his nervous system he would easily be able to completely shut them out. He could move a bit but not much due to the inward pulsing that kept him in levitation above the ground.
Upon noticing that the man intended to cover the entire stasis cage he began to think out his next move. Due to the cage's round shape, his opponent would have to move around to the other side of the cage to place the last of the seals. That would give him time to function a counter attack. The blue array of light from previous body manipulation returned but covered his entire body. This would begin just as his opponent would be finished placing about the first ten or so seals. Not many due to the speed that Greed thought and processed. Greed's mouth opened wide as invisible gasses from inside his body began to pour out. Of course to his opponent it would just seem as though he were yawning. There was no evidence of gases other than oxygen flowing out of the hole between his lips. The gas would begin to build up in the cage and he would merely wait for the right moment to attack.
When his opponent would come around to the back side of the stasis cage to place the seals he would strike. In a sudden and swift movement he would pull his right arm down to scratch the blade of bone deep onto the ground. In order to do so he would have to increase the length a bit but that would be no problem. Upon the blade hitting the ground, sparks would fly and the gasses would be ignited. Hydrogen from the inside of his body and oxygen in the air would create a highly flammable gas combonation. The sparks would istantly ignite the gasses and cause a large explosion of flames invisible to the human eye. It was well known that flames from a hydrogen explosion were invisible to the human eye and would jump into mid air.
So, when the explosion went off the flames would escape throught the only hole left where his opponent would be trying to place the last of the seals. Since the cage was only electricity the flames would pass right throught and hit his body like a wave of hot air. Yet, they would be extremely hot. To the point of incinerating flesh and bone after only a matter of thirty seconds. How the man could dodge or defend against something such as this was truely impossible.

That was the one thing Kurald missed, and that was that his seals weren't completely impervious either and even a harsh enough fire could burn them up. Which, to his dismay, is what happened. He could feel the heat before the flames even got to him and he ran full speed under the stasis cage and as far to the wall as he could, turning around quickly.
His shield was gone, the fire having done enough damage to destroy it, but luckily he had gotten out with only a minor burn on his cheek and a few crispy spots on his clothes. He then raised his swallow in front of him and began to spin it, readying. He would have to get much more serious now that his shield was eliminated.
((OOPS! Forgot one thing! EDIT EDIT!))
Greed had been freed from the stasis cage as Kurald lost concentration shortly after running under it.

The instant that the stasis cage had disapated Greed would fall to land in a crouching position with a light thud. A large cloud of dust dirt had been lifted into the air when the Hydrogen explosion went off. Bits and peices of burning paper or ash drifted down from the air where it had been thrown by the force of the explosion. It was quite the show to watch. A hush had fallen over nearly the whole croud as they watched closely to see if either of the two combatants had survived.
A loud gasp could be heard from most of the croud as the dust settle. Standing in the small, foot deep crater was a monstrous figure that would easily strike fear into most. To prevent the explosion from killing Greed himself he began to rapidly increase the carbon bondings in his skin by drawing it from the air. Thus once again creating "Carbon Black". His Pants were in tatters and his jacket was shredded in several places. The beast like figure pulled a clawed hand to rip his shirt and vest from his body, leaving his pants as his only clothing. His skin had turned to a black material that had looked almost scaley or rocky. All except for his body shape had changed. He was the farthest thing from human now, and everyone would now be aware of that. His head was regular shaped but he had no hair. Instead of eyes, there were sideways diamond shaped sockets filled will a crimson hue. Where his mouth should have been were large white fangs that pertruded out instead of in. His face alone was terrifying.
The monstrous figure known as Greed pulled himself up to stand in a full erect stance as he turned to face his opponent. He linked his clawed fingers together and pulled them in to make a cracking noise.
Then he was ready.
For such a monstrous figure he was actually rather swift. He lept up out of the small crater, which was only about a foot deep and maybe ten eight feet in diameter, and began to sprint forward. He would quick close the small gap by irratically moving in odd patters with such swiftness that his body was but a black blur. He was only about five feet away from the man's front when he slammed his feet hard into the sandy ground to push off into a leap. As he flew foward, he pulled his right leg inward so that his knee pressed against his chest. Then he quickly brought his leg back out to make a straight heel kick at the man's right rib set. Due to the density from his Carbon black body, the kick would be like being struck with a sledge hammer. If it hit he would easily break a few of the man's ribs. If it was blocked it would have to be done by something reinforced because that foot was moving fast and velocity adds power. Blocking with his hand would cause him to break his wrist.

Luckily for Kurald, he wasn't stupid enough to try and stop a guy who was made of metal with his bare limbs. Instead he quickly rolled out of the way, just before his opponent took off from the ground. As a signature, he had left a little present. There was a seal there that exploded just as Kurald rolled away, which wasn't a deadly explosion, but an intense smoke bomb.
Now it was time to make some space, and get some speed. With that he activated the seals that he always keeps on his feet, and suddenly he was darting to the other side of the arena, moving back and forth quickly to make him extremely hard to hit with any form of projectile. It was as though he was skating on the ground, when in actuality the seal allow him to slide on air when he need to. It made him more than twice as fast and he is able to activate and deactivate them as needed. He got about 60 feet away from Greed before fully turning around with his swallow out in front of him, which he was spinning. It going faster and faster and was actually no longer in his hands, it was merely floating in front of his left hand and spinning about as fast as a plane propellor. Which as a result would send an extremely large amount of sand towards Greed, and pretty much anything in from of Kurald. As this was happening he had raised a seal between two fingers in his right hand, and was chanting.
NOTE: The seals on the bottom of his shoes are carved in, not just paper seals.

As Greed watched the man dodge his arial attack he quickly decided to ready himself for an awkward landing. He landed with a loud thud and a bit of crackling could be heard beneath his feet as some of the rock broke beneath the sand. He turned just in time to see the man running in the opposite direction before he was blinded by the smoke. " b*****d," he said underhis breath as he began to become annoyed with this fellow. It seemed that he would have to immobilize the pour boy, because he obviously didn't want a proximity match.
He quickly began to sprint forward at his normal swift speeds. Grains of sand and chunks of rock were deflected off of his hard body as he ran straight towards the man. With most of the sand being blown away from the ground, Greed noticed the hard slab of rock that served as the real arena floor. Ideas quickly flashed in his mind and he knew what he was going to do to hopefully finish the man or at least hold him in place.
Greed was only about fifteen feet away when he came to an abrupt stop. His eyes were on his opponent the whole time, and he noticed that the man was chanting. He quickly pulled his arms down to slam them into the rock with a loud crack. Once again a bit of dust came up but that wasn't all. His opponent would soon feel the earth rumble and only a split second later the earth beneath him would rise. By striking the front of a slab of earth, Greed was able to cause the back to move up. The back was exactly where his opponent would be standing. This would cause his footing to be on a rather steep inclined peice of earth and the only place he could go is down, due to gravity of course. The man would slide down and be at the mercy of the monster.
Simply Put: Greed would flip a plate of earth with extreme force causing Kurald to loose footing and slide.

Cept, Kurald wasn't quite stupid. Since the man started coming towards him, he had reactivated the seals on his feet and just before Greed went to punch the ground, he activated the seal onto his swallow. So, as he started to slide down the slab, since he would simply slide, rather than lose his footing because of the foot seals, The swallow's blades would glow blue, dully. Although given the speed it was spinning, it just looked like a glowing-ish blue disc.
Anyways, he had just begun sliding when he pulled back his hand that was controlling the swallow and threw it forth, releasing the blue disc, a.k.a. his swallow.
Now the seal he had used was a special one, designed for getting through literally tough spots. The blue glow it generates, literally devours matter. In simplier terms it disintegrates it, and absorbs it into itself. So no matter the density of an object(or person in this case sweatdrop ) it would melt and eat through it. He figured that if this didn't cut through that guy, then who knows what the hell could? The man looked to be made of some kind of stone or metal or something like that, so Kurald naturally assumed the hardest thing he could think of and thought of what could cut through it.
Also, he wasn't one to just go head first into a person, especially if he just threw a disc of death. So instead he jumps shortly after releasing the disc, and lo and behold, he skates on the air. Over Greed's head by about 5 feet. Once he's about 20 feet for so away from Greed he'll deactivate the seal and jump to the ground in time to catch his swallow which in theory should have cut right through Greed. He didn't see why it wouldn't given that Greed should have no idea what the blue glow did, and he seemed to be rather impervious, then why would he try and avoid it?
SUM UP: He activated the seal on his swallow and as he's sliding down he throws the swallow at you and then jumps to skate on the air over your head, fairly quickly as before.

Greed was starting to become quite frustrated with his opponent. All the little weasel seemed to want to do was dodge and run to keep his distance. " p***k," the annoyed Homunculus muttured beneath his breath. Upon seeing his opponent change the look of his weapon he knew that something different was up. Seeing as Greed was a rather smart man and didn't have the I.Q. of a stump, he knew quite well that an attack was ment to hurt..Why not dodge it. He quite easily turned his body and stepped once to his right to let the swallow fly past him and clash into the ground and bounce away just as metal should upon hitting something dense such as rock. The reason it hadn't just flown past was because of the difference in altitude of the combatants. Greed eye sockets were fixated on the spot where the swallow had struck. In a matter of moments the sand and a large portion of the rocky slab began to de-materialize as the seal's power ate away at it. He took mental note to that effect before turning once again to see his fleeing opponent.
The beast like figure turned his body to face the man who was a good twenty feet away. To his back was the wall of earth previously created; other than that it was clear fighting plane. If his face could make any emotional gestures right now he would definitely have a smirk on his face. He merely stared at the man and waited to see if he actually wished to move onto the attack.

Instead of flying and bouncing along the ground, the swallow instead turned sideways onto it's edge. It continued flying along straight, cutting a thin line through the earth. When Kurald had landed, he landed slightly beside the path of the swallow. It flew past him, but instead of continuing on towards the wall, it tilted and curved to do a U-turn of sorts and fly to Kurald's other side, where his hand was held palm out, waiting. The swallow stopped as it reached his hand, and slowly stopped spinning until he grasped it firmly. This whole process, from him landing, to him catching the blade took only about 5 seconds.
Given that the blade had moved unnaturally, even an idiot could figure out that Kurald was obviously able to control it in some way. Although, there seemed to be nothing visible. The blue glow continued to radiate from the blades of the swallow, the effect obviously still there.
The man raised another seal to his face, wielded between two fingers. What it's effects will be is, obviously, unknown.
