right after i first got a guitar a friend and myself went and played at the mall. one guy gave us ten dollars to stop and go home.

well, im not quite sure if this qualifies, but me and my friend walked down the street with guitars and pocket amps. some potheads threw small change at us. i think we made a total of 73 cents biggrin

I should try this at target... walmart locks down their guitars and you aint gonna get paid to play at a music store...

Dude...The people at Wal-mart got pissed at me..I was lookin' at some crap in the music section. And an employee came up and said "You wanna look at one of our guitars?" And I said " I would never buy the pathetic excuses for guitars you sell here." He then stalked off angrily. ^.^

We were once practising Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer on the music corridor and our head of drama walked along and said we should be collecting, so I put my guitar case out. Next time he walked past, he gave us a £20 note. And there were only two of us there at that point, so we got £10 each. But then a load of people came and joined in, but he didn't walk past a third time. They were all dead annoyed then.

Me and my friends always hang out on a field by my house and a couple of times me and someone else have bought acoustic guitars down for a jam. Never got any money out of it though! sweatdrop
Always wanted to try it out one day, don't really have a strong enough voice though. Maybe I'l try some instrumental stuff one day. mrgreen
As for headbanger29, do you even play guitar?! lol
