whose school has a troupe out there? what skits/songs have you done for induction? and who absolutely loves the 'dramatics' magazine? speak up now, no need to be shy redface
our second annual induction ceremony is coming up in may, and my friend ashley and i are singing 'angel of music' from phatom of the opera.

Yeah, I'm still (technically) a part of it, being in college.
We did it differently. We were all forced to become mimes for the day. Which is actually better than what I was forced to do (but am not allowed to say) for my Alpha Psi Omega induction.

I'll get inducted in a matter of a few weeks. I'm also running for secretary of my troupe (0784 is the coolest thespian troupe in the world!!!!! ^^) I can't wait to go back to states next year!

I was ju'st inducted two weeks ago we dont preforma skit we light candles and sign a big book its alot like selling your soul to the theatre gods. xp

I don't think that we do a skit, but I know we light candles. (I officially get inducted on May 14)
How fun is State Competition in other states? The one where I live is great (and huuuuuge)

How many Thespian Points (or theatre hours) did you guys have to get to be inducted (Is it always 10 points (around 100 hours) or is every troupe different?)

I'm to be inducted a week from Saturday. smile Skits and songs? We don't do those... I think... well I don't know! The inductees don't, at least. Kitsune Ookami How many Thespian Points (or theatre hours) did you guys have to get to be inducted (Is it always 10 points (around 100 hours) or is every troupe different?) We have to have 10 points (100 hours) in order to be inducted. DispatchNA For us, we had to have at least 20 points. Twenty points to be inducted? Wow. Not as many people would make it. I would, but then again, I probably spent more time this year in our fine arts building than at home.

I went to the induction last night, but I'm not going to be inducted until next year. They lit candles, did dances, dramatic readings, singing, and there were cookies!
At our school you have to have 10 points, then for each additional 10 you get an honor star and 60 gets you an honor bar. I have 4 right now, I got into drama a little late this year, but I'm hoping to get a few more over the summer (I know of one play that I am doing and another that is a definite possibility, if they cast me).
