What do you think is the most pointless thing in FFVII I mean something they could have just done w/o. Don't just say it was perfect and there was nothing pointless, BC nothing is perfect. I have to say the tissues you won at gold saucer were the most pointless thing in the game. They had no use! I would have rather gotten nothing.

I'd like to apologize for that. I didn't mean to be offensive and if it is go ahead and get some one to lock this. I wasn't saying you had to agree with my suggestions. Personally I liked the train description thing. I just know some friends who found it useless. I also like Cait Sith and really don't see why people bash him but they do. And FF7 is the game that turned me on to RPG's I think it is one of the best games ever. But I found the tissues pointless. And I know that there has to be at least one person out there who thought something in the game just wasn't necesary. That's all I apologize for seeming mean.

Actually, they did have a use. The more tissues you have, the more difficult your fights in the arena are. I believe you can sell them off, so I think that's why you aren't allowed to take your battle points outside the arena.

But, anything else? Hm...I'd have to say, the "bumper prizes" you get in the Battle Arena, the 1/35 soldiers, things like that. Items that have no real use at all. They've fueled so many dumb rumors that it's quite sad, and rather annoying. No one can believe that they're just that useless.

Actually, it's been a while, but I think you can use the 1/35 soldiers in battle...really! Oh, and I didn't know that tissues thing, thanks!! That may help in the future sweatdrop

Okay, I'll be the mean one...Cait Sith...honestly, he had a lot to do with the story, Square did good at covering that, but I just plain don't like that character. He just stabbed you in the back, and was in reality, a pencil pusher for ShinRa...Plus, after his "death" at the temple of the ancients, he did nothing else...besides give you entrance to Midgar...still....Above all, I hate the mog robot that he rode upon the entire game...Tsk, tsk...people won't like me now! sweatdrop

Definatley tissues, i would rather take Cait Sith than Tissues.

I think the most pointless thing in the game was to make those weopons so hard, just to give you things that, at the level you're need to be at to defeat them, are unneed. I don't need master materia and a gold chocobo when I've probably gotten a gold chocobo by then and my materia are high enough to do something to them.

i hated getting tissues. in the begining i thought thats what cured the sadness status but it didn't and i got angry with it but as annoying as it was all it did was sit in my inventory. Kinda like cloud's buster sword.
