Do you actually go through and do the side plots in the game when you find them? I actually really like doing them because usually you get extra items or bonus gear, especially in a RPG. In Shadow Hearts after you open the final area (in any of the games) certain areas you can go back and open up by talking to certain people and those areas hold final weapons, etc.

So do you actually like Side Plots, or if you call them side stories? I think they are actually quite useful.

Hooray! Someone other than me that likes Shadowhearts series! The side quests are all entertaining. I've got every single one of the best items and fusions for Shadowhearts because of it.

I like doing side quests, they can be a nice break from the main plot. whee

If I set out to complete a game, I'm going to do it 100%, so even if I don't LIKE the side plot, I end up doing it.

When I play a game, I play to max myself out. Yeah thats right, I'm a power gamer. So I will do every little plot, sideplot, subquest and turn over every stone.

When you play Baldur's Gate II, the whole game is nothing but side quests/plots. xd There is one main storyline, but each character has their own individual story and you're constantly going around and doing quests for other people. At first it kind of annoyed me because it's so open-ended, but then I tried Icewind Dale II, and it wasn't as much fun because it was so linear. I play Baldur's Gate again now, and it's cool.

Aside from BG2, I love doing side quests and stories. I mean, what would Zelda be without the trading quests? biggrin

Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is a perfect example of how side plots are more popular than the main quest.
