Thanda had been sleeping, alot. She never seemed to do anything but sleep and eat as her golden form became fatter bearing the cubs. She found it too tiring to even try and stand and she hated all the pressure put on Adem.
She was sleeping now, Fast asleep on her side, the first few contractions not feeling to bad, the cubs moving were more painful, so she continued to sleep, she had nothing to worry bout yet, nothing at all.

Even though a typical male would probably be sleeping at this time, Davu'Adem, soon to be father, watched ever intently on the form of his sleeping Thanda. He would frown occasionally, spotting the abnormally large stomach the female adult was now bearing, and couldn't help but think it was his fault. Well...technically it WAS but Thanda was the one who had...offered it to him?
He sighed, his eyes slowly drooping, but his ears still remaining perked to listen to her. Everything seemed fine this night, but he would know if something was wrong. The slightlest hitch in her breath would cause him to look back up at her and watch!

Suddenly she made a strange noise that sounded like a cat being strangeled. She was awake in an instant and there was a cub incoming.
She stretched her body out, her claws digging into the ground suddenly, her orange eyes wide open in pain. Why were cubs so painful? She made the strange noise again and took in a deep breath, then she started to push.
And push,
and push,
and push....
Finally out came the head of a female cub,
She started to lick at the cub but before she could complete it, the next one was coming quick and fast. A minute or two after the first the second appeared, this was alot more painful then the first,
Both cubs pelts were a mix of their parents and now Thanda could relax for a little while and lick her two cubs clean, though she knew there were more.

With the sound of the strangle cry, Adem had once again jumped to his feet, his golden eyes plastered on the form of the now in pain Thanda. "Wh..what's wrong?" He gonked, ears pinning back at another wail echoed in the small den. "I...is...is it ti..time?" Adem's head drooped inbetween his shoulder blades, his timidness howing even more now.
But his answer didn't go unanswered from his mate, because soon after, a small bloodied up sac had been plopped onto the ground, it's contents revealing a wriggling cub, wanting warmth and nourishment. His eyes widened even more, as he stepped back. Sure, he had seen a female given birth before...but these were...his..?
Not a moment later, Thanda's cries echoed throughout hte den and another body emerged. "Yo..You're doing g..great!" Adem stammered out, moving cautiously over to Thanda, and nuzzling her neck.

Thanda smiled, she seemed to be ok for now no more cubs coming. She continued to clean at the cubs and soon their damp pelts were showing. One was female and her mothers colouring and the other male with his fathers colouring but mothers spots.
She smiled, panting a bit. "Th..ther..they..are.. beautiful.." She took a deep breath before the contractions started again.

Adem nodded, speechless. "Kibibi..." His voice rang out, nodding towards the first female. "It means...eldest daughter." It suited, did it now? As for the male, the sunspot adult would wait for Thanda to name him, since he didn't want to take that opportunity away from her because of her contractions.
When he thought things were over, they really weren't. Thanda's cries emitted in the den, causing the adult to whine slightly. He didn't like when she was in pain!
He moved towards the two newborns, sniffing at them, and giving them a small lick, cleaning the already damp fur just as Thanda had done. He wanted to help her, some way or another!

The next three came out one after the other, slipping out easier each time. The first one was painful and was a little boy,  The second was a small little girl, and was less painful for Thanda, the cub seemed smaller as well.  The third took a bit longer to come out but he didn't take too long, after all Thanda was having a reasonably easy birth! He came out, the oddball, he was alot darker in colour and had Thanda's strange markings.

After the last three had arrived, Adem's ears perked forward. Was it over? How many were there? He gazed at all the cubs, five of them in total. Overwhelmed, the adult male seemed to lose his footing and flopped onto the ground with a small oomph. "oh..oh." He murmured quietly, a purr released from his throat.
They truely were beautiful!
Where was this place? Why isn't it warm anymore? I'm hungry! The oddball cub mewled noisely as he was cleaned by his mother. 'Cold!' He whined into his mind, shuffling his best to get away from the attacking tongue. However, his shuffles were quite awkward, as all his limbs seemed to flail except for his hind leg. 'Cooold.' He murred again, crying out.

Thanda gathered all five cubs to her, showing them where to go and licking each one several times to keep them warm and to let them know their mother was near.
Once they were all happily feeding she looked at her mate, her Adem and smiled. "Aren't they beautiful..." They were all individually but all obviously theirs, each one showed their parents.
The little male, 2nd eldest was happy, he had found his mothers warm body and the warm milk that flowed from her. He felt her wet sticky tounge cleaning him and if he would have been able to he would have purred in delight, instead he squeaked and fed happily.

Adem only nodded, quite stunned from the previous moments. "..names?" He asked quietly, crawling towards his mate and children with a small smile on his face. Each one looked so different from each other! One caught his eye however, the last female to be born. "Look.." he whispered quietly, amazed once again. "She..she looks like me!" A little sunspot female!
The blind chocloate male groaned pitifully as his mother moved him to eat. He was about to complain, when the taste of warm mile hit his mouth. 'more..more!' He whimpered, gnawing at his mother's stomach finding warmth there as well as his hunger being depleted.

Thanda smiled as her cubs suckled, "That little boy, he can be called Takasika, he looks like you but with my spots!" She chuckled a little and licked at them all again, a proud mother she really was.
"Oh Adem, this is so perfect, we should take the cubs into your lands at somepoint, after all, your friends should know them." She spoke slowly, she was a little tired, but, she was happy, ever so happy.
