Zo-Zo The pink bird had taken flight from his usual home upon the jungle treetops. He'd been eager to see more lately and his bright colours were visable about the mountainous lands. His beady gaze was cast downwards, almost in awe of the unusual scenary. Where was he He swooped downwards, his feet scrambling at the ground as he tried to keep upright. Ruffling his feathers he edged closer to a tree and climbed onto the nearest branch, chirping a little greeting to anyone who happened to be around Kimaria Kucha was gently urging the male lion to come out from hiding amongst the prickly bushes that scattered the mountainside, her small cheeping sounds filling the air with a calm aura. Yet despite this the lion still remained huddled up, eyes staring fearfully up at the orange bird. He hoped beyond anything else that she would just leave him alone but that was not in Kucha's nature, no. The avian twittered louder this time, swooping from her perch to dip and dive above him. "Come on out! Well I never! Who heard of a lion that was scared of a bird?" She paused only when she heard another nearby chirp and came to land on the ground just in front of the Ela's paws. "Here look," she began again, "nothing to fear! Avians don't have teeth to bite with." The lion just whimpered and tired to back up further.

Zo-Zo With a confused look, the friendly avian flew closer to the scene, inspecting the lion and falling down next to Kucha. "Hello dahling, anything I can help you with" The flamboyant creature continued to preen his feathers, ruffling them and proudly displaying his down of pink and black. "What's wrong" He hopped closer to the lion, cocking his head. Kimaria Kucha was rather surprised to say the least, twirling around to face the extremely bright male who had come to settle down beside her. "Oh, so that was you twittering earlier!" She exclaimed, strangely glad of his company. It wasn't often she got to stop and talk to another avian. "It's this lion, he won't come out! Would you believe he's afraid?"She turned back to peer at the furry face hidden amongst the brambles, his glassy eyes wide and shiny as he stared at them.

Zo-Zo "Afraid of us" He exclaimed, a suprised look upon his face. "Oh dear." He hopped closer to the lion, and would smile if his beak allowed him. "Now come on dahling...." He kept a sweet voice, trying to ease the lion from his den. "Theres nothing to be afraid of, its just little ol' us" His voice was extremely.... camp.. to say the least. Kamba knew he'd been different since he had hit puberty. He'd been teased for his beautfully-coloured feathers, but the pink suited his personality. Kimaria "Yes, I met him by completely coincidence, came to land, said hello and in the next minute he's scramblign into this prickly bush and refusing to come out!" She fluttered her wings and bobbed her head in a rather amusing fashion, not seeming to mind the other bird's strange demeanour, it was just nice to have company for a change. "Oh, by the way, I'm Kucha. do you have a name?" She gave a small cheep, blinking her bright, beady eyes.

Zo-Zo "Bless the sweetheart" He peered into the bush and chirped. "Come on out, I promise we won't hurt you." Turning his head to Kucha, his red eyes ran over her beautiful orange feathers. "Kucha, such a dahling name" He said enthusiastically. "My name is Kamba, means shrimp." He twittered loudly. Kimaria "Nice to meet you Kamba!" She chuckled and took another few hops towards the lion who simply whimpered again and backed up once more, not realising that his rump had wormed it's way free of the prickles. He gave a small yelp as one of the thorns drew blood along his shoulder but said nothing more. Kucha shook her head sadly, wings drooping a little. "The poor thing, I wonder why he's so jumpy."
