I was hoping that we could pool our combined knowledge to figure out if and when they will finish InuYasha, and when we will be able to see it ourselves. I was told (and this is just hearsay) that they were not going to finish the show, but they were going to use the movies to fill the void. However from what I have been reading on the forums, that they may be continuing the series. So what have you all heard or know?

I've heard it's a possibilty, but nothing more than that. I hope they do finish it and don't leave us hanging. I hate when they do that.

The series is almost over from what I've heard. And the ending sucks. If they continue it that would make it a lot better but from spoilers and seeing the Japanese series all the way thru its almost over.

Now I heard another company was thinking of contining it on. Weather this is true or not, who knows. I also heard they are just going to use movies to continue.

I heard that the last episode really sucked but I still want to see for myself. I don't think they're planning to continue it after that if they do I think it should only be with the movies insted of another series. No one would watch because it gets to long

i have heard nothing but i wish they would finish it. i think they could come up with a great ending. and just using the movies to fill the void is not enough for me.

i heard that they only stopped making it because they had caught up with the manga and had no material, but, Rumiko Takahashi plans to take the continuing manga up to 500 volumes, so now that more mangas are out theres no reason they cant continue making the series!
i hope they do!

Ok, i have people ask me this all the time. So far they had to end due to lack of funding. People werent buying enough merchandise to hold up the anime. In the ending of movie four it actually says the end to inuyasha....I have heard of different storys on it might be finished with a better ending but for now theres nothing rumiko (I think thats correct) can do in order to run it again. We will just have to wait and see.
