TODAY'S VERSE IS: (pay attention lil' bro and all of us under attack - use this as a weapon against the enemy!!)
Isaiah 59:19b (King James Version)
"When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him."
And in the Amplified:
Isaiah 59:19b
"When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight [for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives]."(A)
HINT: ALL verses can be quoted out loud to send the enemy to flight, exactly as Jesus did when satan was tempting him to jump off the temple. Go to it guys!! Pick up your swords of the spirit (which is the word of God) and put him to flight!!! And the Holy Spirit is right there with us, raising a standard (flag) against him to also send him packing!!
Also, for everyone under extreme attack right now, and really it's a good idea to do this daily to ward off attacks:
Claim out loud the armor of God listed in Eph. 6. I'll share more on that tomorrow. Love you all!!

I know a verse! Ooh! Ooh! OOOH!!! *raises hand*
"The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul. The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple." (Psalm 19:7)
I read this when I was skimming through the Bible one day. I felt that it applied to what I was going through. . . the converting of the soul, by abiding by the Lord's commandments. I realized that I had a more sensitive conscience, and a heightened sense of right and wrong. Also, the testimony of the Lord shall help me to further understand my purpose as a Christian. mrgreen
I had to put this down. 3nodding Who is reading this now? ninja

That's an awesome verse! Thanks for sharing it!!
We haven't had verses for a few days, and this is not too long, so I'm posting ALL of Psalm 23 in the Amplified, since that version comes closest to the original meanings. I think you'll like it!
Psalm 23 A Psalm of David.
1 THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.
2 He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters.(A)
3 He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him--not for my earning it, but] for His name's sake.
4 Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with [a]oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.
6 Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.
Be blessed!!

Also, believe it or not, the Lord knows you thoroughly and personally!
"Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties." (Psalm 139:23)
Yes, he knows your every disquieting thought. But, don't be afraid to talk to the Lord about your feelings or whatever is troubling you. Ask the Lord for strength and guidance in your life. Don't let your emotions take control of you, so you could be "like a city without walls." (somewhere in Proverbs) 3nodding That's what I used to be. But, thank the Lord I have better control of my emotions, and I have His help and His strength to keep me moving on. Praise God! wink

Praise God! wink Those scriptures really helped me too, and He really used the several verses about our 'spirit being like a city' (the above one as well) to show me that sometimes we may have whole blocks in our city that are dedicated to Him, but He wants all the blocks!! And the buildings, and the houses, etc. of our spirit to be His. Thanks for the reminder!!

I'll try to get better about posting these every day guys ... gomen!!
I will post this in both King James - which is so poetic and easy to memorize, and the Amplified which gives richer meaning.
Verse 11 can be used in warfare against the enemy and is VERY powerful - simply remind him that you have overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. It is a weapon!!
Revelation 12:10-11 (King James Version)
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Revelation 12:10-11 (Amplified Bible)
10 Then I heard a strong (loud) voice in heaven, saying, Now it has come--the salvation and the power and the kingdom (the dominion, the reign) of our God, and the power (the sovereignty, the authority) of His Christ (the Messiah); for the accuser of our brethren, he who keeps bringing before our God charges against them day and night, has been cast out!(A)
11 And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].
Remember: Verse 11 is an excellent weapon against the mind battle satan tries to fight with us. You've already overcome!! Tomorrow I'll post a verse that strengthens this!!
Love you all!
