I hate myself for not knowing until 4 days after.
But I think that we should set a time and everyone in this guild, all across america, in your respective time zones should light a candle and have a moment of silence.

I just found out about this yesterday. I was and still am so upset and deeply affected by the death of a beautiful musician. He is dead, but he will live on through the music.

The Crazy Diamond Oh... my God. I don't think... I've ever been this sad in my life. ...Meeting Syd has been my life-long dream... Now he's dead. ... Mine too I always wanted to meet Syd...Ya know if I could meet any member of pink floyd he was on the top of my list...I cried when I saw the article....

Yeah I heard 2 days ago and to tell you the truth I was F***ing stunned! I also heard the cause was related to diabetes, is this true?

P.S. I smell a Pink Floyd reunion concert for Syd coming on!

DavidOshi Yeah I heard 2 days ago and to tell you the truth I was F***ing stunned! I also heard the cause was related to diabetes, is this true? Shine On* to the man that started it all P.S. I smell a Pink Floyd reunion concert for Syd coming on! I heard that the cause of death was not disclosed, but I know he did have diabetes and I wouldn't rule out the death was probably due to complications over diabetes. My dad was Diabetic and it was no picnic for him or my family.

R.I.P Syd Barret. My friends and I said a prayer the other day when we found out. He was a great musician and started one of the greatest bands of all time. Rock out in heaven Syd. We love you.

I'll miss him, but I also know that people die. Death is a part of life, like birth. And instead of mourning, you should be remembering.
