hey gaians of california, i was wondering how many of you attend a college here. Those of you in the UC and State colleges-- i want to know about the rise of your tutition.... i attend Cal State Hayward-- not that big of a school i know... but each year the expected rise is about 10-14%.

UC Santa Barbara
10% this new school year I believe. Combined with the last two years, all State and UC colleges have gone up by 50%

I'm lookin at a 21% increase when comparing my tuition for fall this year and last year's. UC Davis!! That's the Aggies for ya.

i'm a junior right now in high school and have no idea where i want to go, but nor cal is most probably a must for me. i went to so cal this summer and wasn't too impressed sweatdrop i live about an hour and a half east of san fransisco and was thinking of going to san fransisco state and if my grades improve a UC up there (the only problem is i have no idea what i want to major in gonk )

yeah, i haven't picked a major yet and i'm a soph in college sweatdrop i'm so glad that i'm not paying for college, or i wouldn't be able to afford it

I'm in Civil Engineering...I hate the load I have to take, makes me hate college, but I don't know where else I could be in the future other than being a civil engineer so I have to stick with it to the end.

I'm currently attening Delta, a small commuinty college from which I plan on transfering to Cal Poly San Luis.

You should fill out the fafsa, i've gotten so much money from the government for school. I'm paying like 400/quarter and maybe 200-300 more for books out of my own pocket, the government pays for the rest of the tuition costs.
