Tsukasa67 was faced with a dilemma. It was one her world pivoted on. Sweat beaded on her forehead as she bit her lip. Her heart thudded in her chest, threatening to drown out the thoughts that raced through her mind. Ideas raced around like millions of emotionally disturbed ants seeking shelter from a hurricane.

But somehow she finally decided and shouted, “I’ll take the red pill!”

Padme stopped in mid-sentence and finished it with a glare. “What is this, the Matrix?”

“…I…er…”

Out of nowhere, Airez swooped down on the newest victim jailbird. “If it’s the red pill you want, you’ll have it. Come with me, now.”

Tsukasa only managed a squeak before he dragged her out of sight.

---Later That Night---

A Dragonflys Sin grinned slyly as she crept through the underbrush. She had been following the sniper’s tracks all night since Monotone’s death. In her hands was a rifle worthy of sniperhood. She knew this charade, this morbid game the killers played with their lives had to end someday. And she was going to end it, one way or another.

Surrounded by the forest, she stopped, peering at the imprints in the ground the sniper’s boots left behind. The mud still glistened there. These prints were fresh.

Her grin widened.

All would remember her tale. She would return triumphant to the Gaians with the Sniper’s body. Or at least, the head. That would suffice. And they might not believe her at first, no, but when the sniping stopped, they would see. The sniper’s game would turn the tables, and this time the murderer would be murdered. A perfect slice of irony.

A sudden voice rang out, “Marco!”

Instinctively, Dragonfly called, “Polo-“

BLAM

Her very last thoughts were along the lines of “Shoot THEN answer...damnit.”

---Later That Night---

“The sniper is dead! The sniper is dead!”

The yell instantly drew the Gaians’ attention. They rushed to see Wielder of Mighty Pencil! standing before them. Dragonfly’s body had been dragged out of the forest, the rifle still in her hands. A bullet hole stood out vividly on her forehead.

A buzz ran through the Gaians. Was it true? Was the sniper really dead? The questions ran through them like an electrical pulse from a live wire.

“But then who sniped the sniper?” one Gaian questioned, but he was instantly shushed.

“Nobody move!” someone suddenly yelled.

The Gaians turned to see Tsukasa holding a laser gun in shaky, but determined hands. She looked up and crossed her eyes, as if trying to remember an awkwardly recited piece of literature.

“You all will be assimilated. Resistance is futile. I have been given instructions to fire at will. So.…who here is named Will?”

The Gaians blinked. A tumbleweed rolled through the silence.

“I’m not playing, I will shoot you all!” she fired the laser gun a few feet away from the Gaians’ feet.

Out of nowhere, another laser gun shot in the exact same spot, thus violating the instructions Airez apparently forgot to tell Tsukasa: Never. Ever. Cross the beams.

The ensuing explosion managed to destroy the other half of the city. Apparently, craters were in style. But both Wielder and Tsukasa were dead on the spot. Druki and Constant Virtue were taken away to the hospital, where they suffered hallucinations of wearing lederhosen in a vat of sour cream…but that’s really not important to the story.


Tsukasa67 has been voted off, Wielder of Mighty Pencil! has been killed, and A Dragonflys Sin has been sniped.

Druki and Constant Virtue have been removed for inactivity.

Why would you think you've done something wrong? o.o;
