You are a gladiator fighting for your freedom. There is a tournament in this gladiator arena that is circular and is 50 feet in diameter. You will have a sword that is two and a half feet long. You will also have a shield(optional) that is circualr with a foot and a half diameter. Sometimes the will be rare challenges that will force you to fight lions or other exotic animals and sometimes you will have to fight time. That's right you will have obsticle courses. When you enter the arena you will go through a gate that will be opened by one of the guards surrounding you at all times except when you enter the arena. Don't bother escaping either the walls in the arena are 20 feet high and that's were the stands will start.

If you lose you will have to go through the tournament again. Only one gladiator will finish victorious. Yes you could die in a fight which then you wouldn't have to start the tournament over. "Welcome men." The man who looked to be the commander of capturing the gladiators said. "You three will practice against each other until I can find someone willing to train you." He then pointed to 12 guards who surrounded the three gladiators. The guards handed each gladiator a sword and a shield. Then one of the guards repeated what the commander had said, "Now practice against each other. We will tell you when to stop." He said with a sickly grin. Then the commander walked off toward what looked to be an office in the arena.

"Why? There are 12 of them, and 3 of us, soon to be 4! It an even match... twisted I would have done it on my own, excpet, that I can't... one on 12 is une-even, while, 2 on 12 will work. And, I guess will, it will be AGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!! "

"Alright here's the plan. I say AGGGGGHHHHHHHHH! you rush up and stab the guard to the side of me, wile I stab the one next to you. We drop to the floor, and then swing aroudn wit heach other, hope-fully chopping or maiming them, brinig nthem to the ground. We pick up their spears, throw them at anybody else, and then stab the guards. We then are trapped, so, we fight the guards, and light the door on fire, burning it, will the oil and torches, and escape!"

The weight of the short blade was entirely unfamiliar to Zetsumei as he tested the blade by swinging it in small arcs. All his life he had handled bulky and heavy farm tools which for the most part were useless in battle. Marveling at the light weight of the short sword, he began to attempt more violent and complex attacks that he made up as he went along. His forgotton shield lay in the dense dust by his feet. "You know guys," he muttered quietly, "This tournament thing we're doing might actually be sorta interesting.."
