Our director's a really good director.
Outside of directing, though, she's rather prone to bursts of sarcasm or whatnot.

Director at school: Mr. Finley is the awesomest person I have ever met. I seriously wish to be like him one day. I swear, he is hilarious, fun, and acts just like one of us kids. However, you anger, your in deep crap.
Director at Community Theatre: Darren is great. I'm truly shocked that he isn't a professional Broadway director. His vision is excellent. And I always feel bad when I disappoint him by being late or something. He doesn't get mad, he just seems saddened that you weren't there, which is worse.

Mrs. Hopton is the most amazing director I've had the good fortune to work under. She knows how to work with her students and how to make her plays happen and how to make everything a learning experience. Even if she is a little bit of a scatterbrain. Though she'll never admit it. She'd blame the apocolypse on her Props team.

My chorus director (We do chorus and theatre) is the best person ever. She graduated from FSU and she is wonderful. She knows what she's doing and she is really sweet. She helped me a whole bunch in my singing and becomeing more comfortable in front of people...my posture and technigues. She's also very honest so that's a good thing to look in.
Community director: Well there were a couple but the one that was directing us in the plays I was in....well he knew how he wanted things but i didn't really like his style....I don't know but he wasn't all that great to me neutral

My director, Miss. A. , she can be really mean soemtimes and you don't want to get yelled at by her, it is scary. Especially when your a techie, Me, on light crew, and my crew is the crew that is used for everything, during the little random things stuco does. And so we constantly get yelled at by Miss A. But overall she is pretty cool, she can be entertaining. And because of her our shows turn out excellently.

My high school director was insane. Literally. She changed her mind every five seconds and did totally obscure things (like have us roll around on the floor) in the name of 'art.' I hated working with her. xp
The acting proff in my Theatre Program is alright. He knows how to pull a good show together, but he can be a real jerk.
We had another proff direct our spring show and she was awful! She was so scatter-brained that the actors and SM had to band together to pull the show together.
But the Theatre History proff directs some minor shows throughout the year and he is absolutely fabulous. He works one on one with his actors and really helps them get a good grip on their role. He is AMAZING to work with and I hope I'm lucky enough to work with someone like him in the future. XD

My Director... No words can describe what is Mr. Thomas Crockett. He is truely the most inspiring, the most visionary, the most understandable. Sure he has his tempers and his faults.. but seriously.. in the end, its all worth it. He's my second father.

I love my director. She can be cheesy at times. But I know that our shows wouldn't be as amazing as they are without her vision and direction. I spend so much time doing drama-related activities, she's become pretty much my second mother.

I like how my school director doesn't treat us like stupid kids. At least, she doesn't treat the TMS kids that way. She knows that our work is professional quality, and since she can't pay us, she treats us like adults who know what we're doing. Because of her trust in us, we have pulled off some pretty incredible shows for a high school. (Look up Mariner and Metamorphoses. Meta won Best Play at Cappies, and our one-act won state in the UIL competition.
And my junior players directors are just awesome. Again, they don't treat us like kids. All of us are technically still students (ages 15-1 cool but we do more impressive things than a lot of adults do. If you ever have a chance to work with Matt Tomlanovich or Valerie Hauss-Smith jump for it, please.

My director's great. Her biggest complaint for us is that we're not energetic enough in certain scenes (we're doing "Titanic", and you kinda need some excitement when first viewing a ship that freaking huge). So she helps by yelling out what she wants mid-scene/song : "YES! You need more energy there, more, MORE! Come on, there's a huge-a** ship RIGHT THERE, be EXCITED ABOUT IT, Largest moving object in the WORLD" and so on.
All that and she actually knows what she's doing.

My regular director, Mr, Hanske: There is truly no way to describe him. He is... insane, hilarious, creative, amazing, intelligent... Way beyond what anyone could ask for in a Director. Not to mention he's one of the teachers at my school... He literally dresses up and stands outside his room, yelling random things (which have something to do with his costume) at people, or blowing this little plastic horn-thing during the passing periods at random students. heart
Our Musical Director-ess, Mrs. Hanske: This woman is just flat out hilarious. She's our regular director's wife and she's really funny. Not to mention, she doesn't hesitate to insult us, but she does it in a very comical way. And if she gets angry, you want to stay faaaaaaar away... heart

Mr. Curtis owns my soul! Well, not quite, but I <333 him. I have a complaint about his treasurer though. Mrs. Osborn is a psycho. She either hates me because I'm bigger, or b/c I have boobs, and is obsessed at yelling at me for my clothes ><.

My drama teacher/high school play director can be such a douchebag! He mad man-PMS 24/7, he plays favorites like crazy, he can be totally unreasonable if you're not one of his favorites, and just all in all not always a fun person to work with. I mean, he is laid-back sometimes, and he gives the classes free blocks if he's out or really busy, and sometimes we "pull back" and just sit around talking, but when he's a jerk, he's a JERK!
But I've worked with good ones, too. Most of the directors at camp were good (one was HOT), except two of the dance teachers tended to be kinda bitchy.
