yeah, i've been thinking about this but i could never come up with a GOOD answer! I like both Tifa and Aeris equally, and they're both very nice and kind, so i can't really see how people can hate them!

And don't give me the "tifa is a whore cause of her big boobs" thats just plain retarded or the "Aeris is actually a evil slut who wants cloud all to herself and wants to kill tifa!" eek see, those are not GOOD reasons of hating any of them. When did Tifa ever sleep with anyone just cause she liked it? When did Aeris ever show her hate for tifa? They are friends in the game!! rolleyes

so yeah, i just want to know why some people hate Tifa or Aeris besides the, Tifa's a slut thing, or Aeris is a two-timing whore.

I hat Aerith just because...I really don't know. I've just never really liked her at all. Its probrably because I always like the bad guys and never the innocent or pure chars.

I like both Aeris and Tifa equally. As for the Cloud/Aeris/Tifa love triangle, I think Aeris and Cloud should be together, but I don't hate Tifa because of that.

I like them both...but Tifa a little more cause well she is more attractive eek than Aireith(or Aireis whatever you want to call her)

I dislike Tifa not because her boobs are big, but because she so obviously flaunts them. Ever watch how she walks ingame? I didn't think it physically possible to bend your spine out of shape bringing your boobs up to your face most of your life and then still be able to sit in a chair normally. Also, she guilt trips Cloud into a lot of stuff - What kinda friend is that? "Oh Cloud you need to help us save the world because you made a promise to me ten years ago!" And her one line in Advent Children was incredibly low - "Which is it? A memory or us?" stressed

I think people dislike Aeris because she's headstrong and a bit of a meddler. She rushes into situations and ends up getting herself in trouble as a result. Personally I think this is due to her strong will, and having such a strong will is an admirable trait. I like her though 3nodding

That's so wrong.... Tifa doesn't really flaunt them in FF7. She walks like a normal person would, and considering the graphical quality you can't really say, can you? It's just something that the game developers did, but she never did it to get attention. Just to make the perverts back home happy, though she didn't know any of them and if she did it'd be breaking the 4th wall...

She may have guilted Cloud slightly, but it was all for the greater good. Plus, they've done it in many animes! The girl sees the other guy, and yells, "Please, stop it! You promised me you wouldn't do it, you promised!" The only difference is that she reversed it, because she needed his help to save the world. Wouldn't any sane person do it if they were in the same position?

And, that line... She said it because Cloud had promised her something. She's just asking if he had truly meant that promise, or if he was whispering sweet nothings into her ear with no intetion of really keeping them. That's all it meant. I mean, she just wanted to know if he really was going to be with her and help her when she could no longer fight, or if he just said it to shut her up. I've done the same....


And you say you like Aeris because of her admirable spirit. Tifa, too, has one. I mean, she damn near got herself killed when she went up against Sephiroth, one of the strongest men on the planet, by herself to avenge her father's death. She went straight for him because she wanted to right what was wrong, and almost died doing so. And now, she holds a scar on her body forever reminding her of that incident...
She didn't care if she died or not to do what she felt was right. I think that's something very admirable, something that I've followed along with Aeris's teachings.
