These are some of my pictures in the manga/anime style. I hopefully will have a boom in the number of them soon, because our Enrichment 'Wekk' (Three Days) at my school is about Japan. And everyone knows that thaat's the place where manga originally came from? Don't you?

Anyway, here's some of my drawings. Enjoy and critic!

A girl I drew, along side the bunnies from Shutterbox pushing away a picture of Butterfly, from Tarot Cafe, laughing.

A close up of Butterfly, with a lone bunny, trying in vain to push the pictures away. Poor bunny!

Something I drew a while ago. A girl running. There was meant to be writing, but it got cut off.

Another old picture. A little, lost, rabbit-boy, looking at his parents leaving him behind. (You can't see his parents)

And that's it for now. But be sure, if I find some more I like, I will post them here!

just a little suggestion, but I think that you need to work a little more on human anatomy, and stuff like that. If you can get their bodies to look more like a real human's, then you'll be an excellant artist...if I figure out how to transfer my art onto my computer, then I'll post it to show you what I mean...and no, I'm not bragging. I can point out tons of mistakes in my own artwork, like hands, posture, the eyes, the nose, feet, clothing...stuff like that.

Thanks. I know for a fact I am rubbish at hands, and now I also know I need to improve posture as well.

no offense but you might want to add a little more shading, not too much though

I think your art is fine, too much critiscism really gets people down. Nothing is really out of place: your faces have two eyes and a mouth and stuff. Everything is recognisably human.

One common mistake about drawing anime/manga is that ppl assume that most of the normal rules of drawing don't apply, right? Wrong!! XD Manga characters cast shadows, their arms reach their hips, they (usually) have five fingers, they've got bones, etc. Looking at 'realistic' drawing tips/books can help you draw manga more than you'd think. (I really like your composition and style though! Very cool)

I know a great book to help with any anatomy, expression, etc., problems you may be having it's called Drawing Anime and Game Characters Volume 1 From Beginners to Beyond whee So if you get the time go see if you can find it in stores.

yeah! it does help! like when i decided i would try out anime style (i wish i never did crying ) i found that it was helpful that i knew anatomy pretty well, shading and alot of other stuff! but then it worked the other way for my other drawings too!! so keep at it! and you'll get even better!
