Ello I'm new to the guild so you've probably haven't seen me around. But please pray for myself and the other 7 members of my church that are going to Guld Port, Mississippi to do mission work down there. We leave Monday 7/10/06 though Saturday 7/15/06. I hope to accomplish alot of work by either construction, painting, clean up, and clearing mud and dirt. Pray that we have a safe trip, a safe drive 13 hours long, your outreach will affect someone positivily, bless the organization that is sponsoring us, bless the people we are trying to help, and pray for Mississippi itself.

It think its awesome what you and your group is doing. I have done similar things in my home town through the Sea City Work Camp program. Our mission was geared towards fixing up the homes that needed it the most. I will keep all of you in my prayers. Good luck!

Sorry for the late response;

We had a great trip. We helped one elderly woman in her 70's rebuild the home she grew up in and her dad built. We painted two rooms, painted and put up all of the trim and molding, we installed three dorr frames, my younger brother weeded her yard, we painted two doors, and we put tile in the kitchen and the bathroom. In about a month she will be able to move back in. Thank you for all of your prayers. Without them we could not have done it.

Now this is a picture from the Gulf Port beach. Everywhere there is trash and wreckage. It's hard to see that God is here but then you look at the sky and you know he is there:
