its about a couple of girls whose mother is in the hospital.
they end up moving and feel really out of place until they meet totoro (i'm not really sure what type of creature totoro is, i just can't figure it out.)
i'm pretty sure it's by the same guy that did spirited away, kiki's delivery service, castle in the sky, etc
i haven't watched it in a while so i can't give a very good summary
