Saa felt another pain go through her as she got closer and closer to her den. They were getting closer together now. "Please wait my little ones." Her pleas seemed to be heard as the pains began to diminish a bit. Her paws ached as she finaly saw the bones that lined her small clearing. It was home. The pain in her belly began to return as she came to her den. She hurled herself into her den. The smell of the dirt was enough to calm her as she collapsed against the back of her den. The pains were getting worse and worse. They began to rip through her body and Saa thought that maybe these pups would be the end of her.
"Oh gods...please make this end." Her whimpers began anew as she fell to her side.

Zingy raced after Saa, knowing it wasn't too far to the den, but anxious, almost as anxious as she was. They reached the den, and he skidded to a stop, knowing that he would have to wait outside until she was done with the pups. "I hope there's a male...." He mumbles, laying in front of the den. He let his mind wander while he waited, thinking some things that were good, and letting it wander into the shadows as well.

Saa couldn't smeel Zingy over the smell of her blood that had begn to seep into the ground. This was so painful. This could have been one of the worst ideas she had thought of. Zingy wans't her prophet. She had been impregnated by him and this pain was her punishment. Another rack of pain went through her and she yelped in suprise. The pain that through her now was genuine. Something was coming. Even if she had never had pups before it was most common knowledge. Her forepaws kicked as she cried out.
Saa's breathing slowled as she began to lick the pups dark fur. It was hard to tell whether his pup would be black or purple but the pup seemed to be the color of her stripes. The bright green was on thing that she couldn't ignore. The female pup was simply gorgeous to the new mother. Saa smiled even as more pain went through her. She placed her muzzle gently on her first daughter as she nursed.
"Potevu'Wasaa..."

Zingy heard Saa speaking softly, and he got to his feet, looking in the entrance of the den. He padded in carefully, not knowing if she'd allow him to be in there. Tail between his legs and head lowered cautiously, he looked for Saa in the darkness, spotting one tiny pup laying beside her. He smiled and gave a small bark, then padded over to lay beside the two of them. "Good job lovely." He said quietly, waiting for the other pups.

Something in her wanted Zingy there. He did have a right to see what they had created together. a soft smile crossed her muzzle as he lay by her. "Zingatia..." Her voice was soft and slightly pained. Without thinking she gently licked his maw. More pain shot through her and she buckled. Her teeth clenched as head swam from the pain. Something was different about this birth. This pup seemed all too determined to claw through her stomach rather than be born from her. She cried out again as another sharp pain ran through her.
Something told her that there was something different about this pup...something unwanted. She reluctantly began to clean his obviously white fur. The stitch like markings on his neck seemed as odd to her as his image of his father. The pup and his sister squealed as they fought over her affection.
"Beluwa..."
Potevu'wasaa didn't enjoy her brothers presence. Already you could tell the rivalry in her body. She nuzzled into Saa's belly trying to block her brother from feeding. Her unopened eyes already seemed to glare at the white pup beside her.

With a single sniff, Zingy could tell that it was a boy. He was thrilled to know that he would have a boy to carry on his genes, and eventually spread them further. He also sensed something weird about this pup, something that was almost unexplainable, but it didn't matter. This bright white pup with markings so similar to his father's was special, and already had all of his father's affection.
Beluwa shoved his sister aside roughly, not really caring if he hurt her or not, and latched onto one of Saa's teats hard, little teeth and all. He was the special one, even if they didn't know yet, and he felt he deserved to eat first.

Saa cringed when the boy bit down. His teeth were painful and she feared for her daughter. She gently nudged the boy farther from his sister. The female hoped that this boy wouldn't grow to hurt others but that seemed to be his path. Her yellow eyes trailed along the pure white fur. She knew Beluwa would be the one Zingy favored or would ever care about. Saa knew that she wouldn't shun any of her pups from her affection...but would Zingy? She sighed and looked quickly to her mate. He seemed so pleased with the boy. Suddenly a pain went through her again making her eyes shut tight.
There was something different about this pup but not in a goodd way. It didn't cry when she nudged it and it seemed so much smaller than the others.
"No..." Saa nudged her again before frantically licking the small bundle until it started to cry again. Saa sighed in relief as the small girl began to suckle. When this all came to an end she realized that this was her family...her life. Saa rested her head against Zingy and smiled. "Say hello to your new family..."

Zingy seemed to be enthralled by the little male, he seemed so....power hungry. He liked it. Grinning boradly, he moved closer and licked each one of them, though he payed special attention to the male, licking it with extreme affection behind it's tiny ears, and then nudging the runt a littlw with his nose, before going back to licking his son. "They're beautiful, like you." He said, smiling at Saa and licking her muzzle, and evil looking grin curling his lips upwards in the corners.
Beluwa seemed dissatisfied with his mother pushing him out of the way, and bit down harder on her teat, grinning insanely as he did so, pulling milk from it after he bit. He wagged his little black and white striped tail behind him contentedly as he fed, small stomach filling. Rolling over onto his side, he pushed against the dirt, moving his small body closer to his mother's.

The smallest of the three pups wriggled her way closer to her mother, snuggling happily into Saa's warmth. She whined, having trouble staying near to her mother, her siblings were so much stronger than her and kept pushing her away from the warm haven. Hoping to find somebody to curl up with, Kibu crawled to her father and snuggled up to him.

Saa watched as Zingy paid extra attention to the little male. Her family was already falling apart. She gently nuzzled each one. Her tongue dragged slowly over Potevu's back causing the pup to paw at her belly in happiness. Saa growled softly to Beluwa and took the pup in her jaws. The mother was slightly angry that he was getting so pushy with his mother and his siblings. She dropped him onto her forepaws and nudged his head gently.
"Yoyu had better stop that or you'll be disciplined." Her voice was soft but exact. Saa was tired from their birth though her tail wagged gently. Her head soon turned to Zingy before gently licking his muzzle. "You shouldn't favor tem while they are so young. Beluwa is no different than his sisters..."
Pot yipped as she got closer to her mother. She loved the feeling of her mothers warm belly and fur. Her father scared her. His scent was so foreign. Knowing that her mother's warmth meant safety she slowly curled up until her purple fur meshed with her mothers.

Zingy looked down at the small female, a look of disgust crossing mis muzzle briefly. He looked at Saa as she lifted his son and placed him between her paws. "But he is different Saa, and you know it. First off, he's the only male,and second of all, you know, and I know that there's something.....else." He said, knowing that she'd known when the male was born exactly how different he was. He gave the tiny female a gently nudge, feeling a little affection towards her, but not as great an amount as he did towards the male. She was the runt, and he thought it'd be best if they just left her, but he knew Saa never could, and he didn't really care....He'd be leaving soon anyways...
Beluwa snapped at his mother's muzzle, ears flattened. Baring his teeth at her, he growled as fiercly as he could, batting a pet at her cheek. He didn't care if she wanted to hurt him, he only enjoyed pain. Batting a paw at her cheek again, he caught the fur and skin against his tiny claws, leaving small gashes where they'd been. Smirking ignorantly, he wriggled from his mother's paws and went to lay by his father, snuggling against his fluffy chest. Snarling at his tiny sister, he wagged his tail in a satisfied manner as she cowered away.
Kibu whined with her small tail tucked up against her belly and her head held low. She didn't know what to do or where to go, so she lay in the space between her parents and whimpered softly, hoping one of them would call her to them.

Saa wanted to make her family work. She wanted everything to be perfect but maybe it wasn't supposed to be. The scratches on her face weren't of any concernHer tail gently wagged she brought the male back to her paws. "You don't get to see daddy until you behave." Her tongue slowly dragged along her son's back. The white fur was still slighty pink from being within her and it was bher duty to clean it. When his pelt finally came to it's intended hue and bightness she placed her muzzle on him. She knew the small pup would probably try to wiggle from her grasp but she didn't care until she saw her smallest being alienated. She lifted her muzzle and slowly broguth her daughter against her.
"There my Kibu. Don't feel bad." She nudged her pups before turning to Zingy. "Don't let that happen again..."
Pot growled softly as she nipped at her brothers paws. Her small teeth caught on his toes and she clusily chuckled. Her brother would get it for scratching Mama. When Saa didn't do anything the pup protest by batting at her mothers shoulder. She wasn't quite strong enough to lift herself to her back paws but hopefully she would get the message across.

Zingy looked at Saa as though she'd offended him, ears flattening. "It doesn't matter....She's just a runt." He said, bending his neck and snatching the male from between her paws. "There there Beluwa, you can see me any time you wish." He said gently, licking the young male. "You shouldn't be so controlling of them Saa, they need to make their own choices." He said, resint ghis chin on the ground next to Beluwa.
Beluwa pulled himself to his feet, stumbling a little before figuring it out. He was stronger than his sister, already standing on his own, and he waddled over to her and chomped down on her ear, hard.
Kibu beamed up gratefully at her mother and snuggled up to her side to nurse finally. When she had had her fill she curled up into a ball buried partially under Saa and watched her brother and sister scuffling. She barked angrily at Beluwa when she saw him bite Potevu however, it didn't seem like it was a fair fight with him acting like that.

Saa placed her head on her paws. Her family was already falling apart. It had been a short time since her pups had been born and already Zingy was being over baring. A painful twinge went through her again and she doubled over. Another pain wracked thorugh her already trembling body. Saa hoped nothing was wrong but she couldn't be sure. She soon realized that her body was un helpfully sore. "Don't contradict me Zingatia. I am their mother." She barked at the male and snatched her cub as he attacked his sister.
"Stop that now!" A low growl came from her throat as she nudged her son.
Pot yelped at the bite on her ear and was relieved when Saa moved her brother. The pup used her happiness to stand. She wobbled a bit on her unsteady purploe paws before holding herself up. A grin pulled at her maw as she lunged at Beluwa's tail. Payback was in order for the annoying white pup she called a brother.

"As I am their father." Zingy said, frowning at her as she again snatched the pup away. He rolled his eyes and waved his tail agitatedly. "Don't shout at him!" He snarled, taking the pup from her again, getting up and carrying him to the other side of the den. "We'll just sit over here Beluwa, that way we don't get mommy yelling at you anymore." He said, dropping the pup carefully on the dirt. He glared at Saa as he lay down on the other side of the den, flattening his ears and gently licking his son.
Beluwa laughed insanely as his father picked him up and took him away from his mother. He growled loudly at his sisters and then snuggled into his father, wagging his tail happily as he tried to fall asleep against his chest fur again.
Kibu was incredibly confused. Her parents were fighting and their voices were frightening her, not to mention her siblings were not getting along either. She tried to get to her feet, and managed to do so unsteadily before collapsing to the ground once more; she still wasn't quite strong enough to stand on her own. Unhappily, she buried her head under her mothers belly and whimpered trying to block out the sounds of their angry voices.

Saa buried her muzzle into her paws. This wasn't right. Her life had taken a turn. Zingatia had seemed so in love with her during her pups birthing but now he seemed distant from her. She almost wished she hadn't had that male but she could never wish death on any of her pups. Her body curled around her two remening pups by her side. She nudges Kibu gently and tried to help the pup to stand as Pot happily jumped against her muzzle.
"Why don't you go take a nap sweetheart?"
Pot was happy with her new found ability to stand. She bounded over to her brother and bit at his ears. She didn't realize that he liked pain. Her tail wagged as she pounced on her brother. This would always be her idea of fun. Pot stopped for a moment and looked at her brothers neck. The stitching there made her giggle. She poked and prodded at his head jumping back on light paws incase it was to fall off.
