We're supposed to be getting a new band director and it's a week away from camp and the haven' hired one yet...I'm nervous

I had a new director every year while I was in band, our parents were assholes to anybody who worked us "too hard" in their mind (IE practicing 3 nights a week), or not going on big expensive trips every year. This year we got a new one, but I graduated so Im going to help out.

lmfao.. i was just gonna say "HEY THAT SOUNDS LIKE DR TRENT" and then i realized... you go to FHS and it is dr trent... haha.

y'all's isnt as bad as ours though.

so anyway.. our head director left to go to a sucky band where he gets more money... our assistant became our head, and he doesnt realize we have limits. he literally says "YOU ARE A MACHINE, BAND" like we're not sposed to get tired.

our new assistant is wacko. she's OCD, a hypocrite, and not very good at anything.
