The Power 10 list for 10-29-07
1.) Vincent Sanctuary - Vincent was able to claim the GWF Undisputed championship for the second time of his career after defeating both Inferno and Jed in a Triple Threat match. With such a win, the 7'5 giant made a clear statement that he was to be taken seriously over the Undisputed championship, and even more at Fright Fight in the Tower of Terror. Will he be able to be the rising one on the top of a structure full of former world champions angry for gold?
2.) Amy Davis - At Anthology, she walked away with nothing left. At Lord of the Ring, she has been able to regain a little of what she lost after defeating Mystique, BJ Dragon and Angel Henderson in a Fatal Four-Way match for the Women's championship. However, it has been announced that she would defend her gold against Mystique at Fright Fight in a match the challenger personnally chose: A Street Fight! That match will prove one and for all if Amy's victory was a fluke, or faith...
3.) Michael Phoenix - Michael Phoenix remains on the Power 10 after becoming one of the rare ones who became double champions. Not only he retained the Television championship against Zarel, but he also became the new EX-Division champion after defeating the entire Ex-Division in the Ultimate EX. No need to say that the former champion, Cartwright, is now looking for revenge over Michael. At Fright Fight, both will square off in a TLC Match for the title. Will Michael be the one to stop the former champion's fury?
4.) Jarel - For his last Pay-Per-View match in GWF, Jarel defeated X-Rated member, K. Fresh, to walk away with the same thing he walked in with: The Fever world championship. Now that Jarel announced his retirement, no one is sure about the future of the Fever championship, but let's bet it won't be long before some people in the locker room comes in to show some interests in the title.
5.) Chris Jericho - Everyone expected a long title reign for Jacob Figgins. Everyone, except Y2J. In fact, he challenged the champion and ended his title reign and became the 6th person to hold the main title of the Invasion roster.
6.) Shawn Michaels - HBK was able to win his first world title in GWF after defeating Joker to win his title. After the match, most people starts wondering what happened to Joker. In fact, the match was declared a no-show after the Mayhem World champion never came to the ring for his match.
7.) Jacob Meyer - The Cocky Canadian was able to retain his Intercontinental championship after defeating not only Buddy C, but also the former Invasion world champion Harli. How long will it be before Jacob decides to move for bigger and better things? Only time will tell...
8.) Samoa Dan - The Samoan Smoking Machine claimed the only victory for his faction, X-Rated, when he defeated Ricky James. Not to mention he has been able to remain into the Lord of the Ring match until the Top 3. A great future is up for the newest member of X-Rated.
9.) Hellfire - Just a month after being declared the #1 contender for the United States championship, Hellfire comes back and gains the #1 contender's spot for the Mayhem world championship by defeating The Wolf. The Academy starts to think hellfire might become the next big thing on the Mayhem Main Event scene.
10.) Ritchie Banks - The Jet-Set Icon proved his victory at Anthology was no fluke after being able to retain his title against a former Cruiserweight champion, Travis Nightsky. This other victory from Ritchie not only continued his undefeated streak, but also keeps him into the Power 10!

Farewell:
Mr. X - A victim of circumstance, Mr. X has been able to retain his United States Championship and even defeat Gravedigger in a Hardcore Match. His win streak is high, but will he be able to retain it against Hellfire? Even if he looses to Hellfire, he still has his Money in the Bank contract.
Cartwright - The man that is truly a lucky b*****d had his luck run out for him when he squared off with Ex-Division for his title, unfortunately for him, he was unable able to keep his gold. Will he get it back at Fright Fight?
Jed - Unfortunately for the legendary Jed, his Undisputed title reign was ended after a very short time when Vincent claimed the victory and walked away with the belt. However, he will have a chance to get some revenge inside the Tower of Terror at Fright Fight.

Keep an eye on...
Tavarius - He managed to defeat one of the best in the business, is it truly his destiny to win the Fever World title? The academy thinks its his time.
Buddy C. - Despite a loss at Lord of the Rings to the Intercontinental Champion and a loss to Zade, this flying psychopath will do anything to get his hands on that title and revenge at Fright Fight. Will he succeed?
Saint Joey - Since his return, Saint Joey has had a complete new look and the Academy assumes some new moves to come with it. Will he be able to move his way into the spotlight and claim a title? The Academy thinks so.
Marxx & Mad Dog - After a great performance from both competitors in the LOTR match, the undisputed Tag Team champions of GWF, X-Rated, came to help their faction teammate, Samoa Dan, to claim the victory. Unfortunately, their interference called the first draw of history over the Lord of the Ring match. At Fright Fight, they will square off to know which one will have the honor to call himself the 2007 Lord of the Ring. But a question comes to everyone's mind: Who would have win if X-Rated never interfered? No one will now...
