I pronounce it Car-lye-il (like carl, then aisle, as in grocery store aisle. jeez. i don't know if i'm spelling aisle right. i don't think i am... o.0 anyway, yeah that's how it's pronounced.)

To tell you the truth when I wasn't paying much attention I thought it was a girl called "CARS and then LEE" Well thats how I pronounced it. Then when my mother read part of the book to me she said Car-I-L .. Anyways the dictionary has it.( kär-ll, kärll )

I had to ask my English teacher and she said thinks it's how Jereni_06 pronounces it.

I prounounced it completely different. ^^; The right way sounds weird. I'll have to get used to it I guess.

xd , it's like Hermione in Harry Potter. I used to pronounce it REALLY REALLY wierdly, but now, I'm so used to the right way, I can't even remember what I used to say, only that I was way off.

The only thing is, when saying it outloud, I say, 'Car-lis-le'...and I can so see myself talking to Stephenie (Because I'm hoping to go to one of her things soon) and I'll say it that way..-gonk- If I can even get myself to say anything..>.<

I guess I was just completely wrong because i pronounce carlisle (car-lees-il). I guess when i think about it it doesn't have those sounds. but i'm used to saying it that way now, and i like it that way.
