In a forest about 35KM East from the fire nation capital, on the light side of a mountain rest's Rayn and Raziel's home. The entire mountain is covered in thick pines and sturdy oaks and the mountain itself contains hidden traces of iron, silver, and pewter. None of which came up in a geological survey by fire nation examiners. As such, the price of land there fell, and Rayn, having loving the fishing spots there, bought up the entire mountain. The mountain itself has no top, Its a giant lake; a crater filled up with the purest of waters. The lake overflows into several rivers, which in turn feed into more lakes. one of these lakeis underground, in a cavern. Part of the mountain collapsed over a lake, and it lay hidden until the examiners tunneled into it. Seeing no deposits, they forgot all about the mountain, and the underground lake lay domant; completely off the map. Rayn found out about the lake and uses it as a way to evade fire nation collectors. He fishes more, they collect less. Near the top of the mountain, hidden in a glade of Thick pines, ferns, and raspberry bushes, lay Rayn and Raziel's house, not but 200ft. from the crater lake. It is a good sized house about 100ft. long and 150ft. wide, it has 4 Bedrooms, 1 Living room, 1 Kitchen, 2 Bathrooms, 1 Catch house, and 1 Smoking house.

Rayn went to the catch house with his handfulls of fish and released them into a small feeding pool filled with leftover food scraps, water, and algae.

So dad, I expect that we're gonna need a fair bit olumber. What kinda trees we need?
Well, for now, why don't you go back to town and get us some nails, tar, rope, and I think that you might also want some fruit trees for your boat. Fish might get boring out on the open seas. I'll get the wood.

::Rayn chops away at plenty of mighty trees for about an 1.5hrs. before having felled 20 or 30 big oaks and red woods. He then started splitting the trunks into long thick planks of wood. He finally started smoothing them down with a rasp and sander.::

Hey pops, I'm back with some supplies. I got a billion nails or so, and I got a few apple trees, a mango vine, 5 buckets of tar and about 150 yards of rope. Oh, and a got 3 sails. Finally, I got me some more clothes.
::Rayn takes some of the planks and nails them together to make a box like frame with a half-hexagonal prism in the middle. Raziel starts handing planks to Rayn as he nails them in place to the prism. Raziel comes next to him and starts nailing in some planks to the top. When Rayn was done on the bottem, he built a shelter on top and carried raziel's futon up and put it next to all of the stuff. He then took some tar and painted the bottem of the boat, as Raziel started building the main and sub masts. Then the finished the hull by adding a rudder to the back. After the nails were set and the tar dry, they fixed the pulleys, strung the rope, planted the trees on on a green house deck, put in the futon, candles, and tatami mats in the cabin, and painted a beautiful intricate design on the inside of the cabin. The finally got it all set up and Raziel bid Rayn adeau and set sail down the river to where their town let out into the ocean.::

::Raziel Walks into the glorious house on the mountainside, looking around for Rayn, his dad. He wandered through it's halls looking everywhere for Rayn.::
Huh...I guess he's out fishing somewhere. Oh well, I guess I could practice my Earthbending here until he gets home...
::Raziel headed out the back door and started to meditate.::

::Rayn walks out the back door, and quickly rushes over to Raziel and picks him up off the ground. He spins him round and round in a big bear hug laughing and crying, and shouting all at once.::
Raziel, Raziel, Raziel! Oh Raziel, how I've missed you! How have you been? Are you ok? Are you hungry or something? Tell me everything that your've seen, did, tasted, everyone you've met, everything! I wan't to learn everything that you've learned!

Well pops, it goes like this. I've been to almost everyplace that the winds have taken me to. I've been to the Water Kingdom and the Earth Kingdom. I've also learned how to Earthbend. Would you like to see? Oh, I also met a few people. I met a guy named Ryukusen; he taught me Earthbending, I met 2 blokes from the Northern Water Tribe; Taizen and Kazuki, and I would like to introduce you to Kazuki, but he is training in town. So what'll it be pops? Do you want to see my earthbending, or should I introduce you to Kazuki? I think that he could learn a lot from you pops.

::Raziel walked back up the mountain before heading to his favorite secluded hiding spot on the shadow of the mountain, away from all of the gaurd towers. He took a few of the Earthbending scrolls from his black jacket's left pocket and unravelled it against the hard stone floor. He read its contents before standing up and getting into a horse stance.::

::Raziel stepped back and shirfted his weight before falling to the ground and slapping the hard floor. A dome of rock and rubble came up out of the ground and covered him in a thickend wall of rock. He punched the ground a first time to crack the dome. Past that, he couldn't split it any farther than a few inches long. He finally drew his staff from his back holster and started pounding out the inside of the dome to try to break it down even more.::

::Raziel continued trying this scroll until he ran out of energy. For 15 times he couldn't break the dome from the inside, so he gave up on it. He drew a different scroll, and this one said common Earthbending evasion manuvers. Not thinking it to be useful, Raziel tossed it next to the first scroll, and picked up his last Earthbending scroll. This one was called the subteranian spike manuver. Raziel read it and set it back down before going into horse stance again.::

::Raziel put his palm to the floor and concentrated for a moment before being able to shift the ground far in front of him. it came up slowly at first, before lurching foreward and forming a long 2 foot long spike and going back into the ground.::
Oh come on! I can do better than that! Come on Raziel, pull yourself together. Just concentrate and try harder. This could be so much better.
::Raziel got back on the ground and tried harder and harder, but could not just get the earthen spike to rise more than 2 feet from the ground.::
