Okay, if you're a member of this guild (or at least actively posting here), then you probably are looking for absurd amounts of gold for five pieces of digital artwork and a membership card. As noble as questing is, it's nice to get a little help along the way, and along the way I thought, 'With all our good quester artists, we could do a group auction, couldn't we?'
I think it could happen, and with everyone's support, it can. From what I've seen, auctions can go pretty high, and if nothing else, it'll be another thread in the name of Moreau. Please post here if you are interested/have any ideas.

It might be nice... But I don't really get the idea. It sounds good on paper, and I have a vague idea of what you're saying, but... Yeah. Quester artists? Group auction? 0_0?
[I feel so dumb right now...]
If you could just explain it, please? I'd really appreciate it... ^^;

edit: nymph, questers that are artists gettin together, each one having a seperate highbid, and all that cash goes to the quests of the respective artist, is what i'm guessin?

Basically, it's all the questers who are half decent at drawing getting together, and setting up a group auction where they sell their art, and all of it is pure profit for their quest.
On Gaia, it's common for better artists to sell their wares in auctions, and sometimes, people do it in groups, in order to attract the gold of more people and hopefully drive up a price. I'm hoping that if all the questers band together, some of the (very rich, I might add) real IoDMers would bid for it.

Ah... Okay, clearer now. ^^;
So basically all the artists make or show examples of art and then other people buy their art is what I'm getting... Is it kinda like a wierd auction museum? Like we all line up with our peices, people come and look at them, then request for their characters? 0_o

Oh, and add me! [Dai-Tao Chai, or just Dai Chai... Which rhymes... I never noticed that...] It sounds really good, and I'm not half bad as an artist, I think... Although I need loads of improvement, I'm in total awe of most of the quester artists...

The ideas...are they for the drawings? Cause....for some reason....I see the people as their opposite gender. XD

Don't worry, Duke, I'm doing traditional media anyways, but maybe as an autobuy option we could get Evion to color it, and then a portion of the proceeds head to her for her troubles? It's an idea, certainly.
And the ideas are just stupid things like the auction theme, what an autobuy should be, and things of that nature.

What about a white elephant thing?
Basically, each participant would draw IoDM art for one of the other participants, so that everyone gets free art. It wouldn't have to be fullbody colored or anything, just a sketch or whatever. Input on this idea?
