"Ah! Welcome! You must be here about Alexander, right?" The door near which you are standing opens just a crack, enough for a sapphire coloured eye to emerge and quickly survey you. After you have seem to pass the 'inspection', the door opens more, revealing a girl in her mid-to-late teens.
"You must be a fellow Eden lover! My name is Feather, White Feather to be exact!" She exclaims happily, a welcoming smile spreading across her face. "Come in, come in! I'm sure Alexander would love some company! He's in the other room!"
Many interesting things are bound to happen here, and chaos is inevitable. Welcome to the home of Feather and Alexander.

White Feather is the guardian of Alexander, and has just fairly recently moved to Barton Town. Her previous whereabouts are unknown, though it is safe to say she resided in an uncharted rural area of Gaia. Not used to city life, or having many aquaintences, she is struggling to cope with her new situation. However, she is in dire need of a human companion, and after a bizzare twist of fate, has finally seemed to find one...

Malaika, one of the first animals Feather has aquired from her city experiences, is possibly one of the most emotional Talaye you'll ever meet. She's emotionally unstable, to say in the least, and is known for allowing her temper to get the best of her. The fact her mate has a brother infamous for the trouble he causes only makes her worse off. But, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do, eh?
Horus is likely the first pet Feather has ever recieved, period. Since before Horus had an anthro form, the pair flew around the Gaian world acting as messengers, carrying everything from letters to packages to random scribbles to waiting recipients. After having five children, however, Horus has slowed down a bit, and spends most of his time with his mate Reliisha. His appearances will likely be rare, but when he does come to visit Feather and Alexander, he will likely be carrying presents galore with him for the young one.

Alexander first met Raven when the both of them were still leaves, though she was potted at the time. She once allowed him to keep her teddy bear, Nana, overnight, and is eternally grateful for her kind gesture. They played with 'flutterboos', as they call them, in a meadow on the far edge of town, and made their first real attempt at flying together. Their quest to grow into toddlers involved them putting on a play, and after a few clothing mishaps and paint wars, the two of them managed to put on an awesome performance after which Alex kissed Raven on the cheek. SO CUTE. heart gonk It's pretty obvious by now she makes Alex extremely happy. x3
Though Alexander doesn't know Shouko very well, the time they did spend together was well spent. They played a little, and they hugged. Aww! =3
Alex has met Circe only recently, but from what he's seen and heard, can tell he's a fairly good guy beneath that enourmous ego. Alex respects him, and hopes they'll be good friends one day.
Alex met Madeline at the HQ, where he firstly tackled her guardian, DiYanni, in search of cookies. o__o;; Madeline then warned him of the infamous 'di'beetes', and said that if he had too many sweets he'd end up getting it. The 'conversation' continued from there. XD
Alex met 'Kajiku' formally when Feather went over Jadaria's house so the two could have a playdate. They played...um...snakes and cats? And the cat ended up eating the snake. XD Anyways, Alex thinks very highly of Kajika, and finds his odd 'bouncing' very amusing, indeed.

"A...leaf. You HAVE to be kidding me. This thing's supposed to turn into a kid? HAH!" A light pink collie with some rather odd eagle-like traits nudged delicately at the green piece of matter, pushing it around the table with her nose. "I've heard of some pretty strange things before...but this takes the cake. Throw it out, Feather. This is stupid!"
"Come ON, Malaika! Don't be such a spoil-sport! Don't worry, Feather! I'm sure things will turn out!" A blue bird-like creature hastily shoved Malaika aside, taking the leaf into his beak carefully, and trotting over to Feather, who was sitting on a nearby couch.
"At least SOMEONE believes me...thanks, Horus." She said with a relieved sigh, sitting up to take the leaf from Horus' mouth and patting him on the head for his efforts, as well. "Honestly, Malaika! I'd think you'd believe anything! Your little boyfriend has 'superpowers', anyways!" Feather rolled her eyes in discontent, then placed them back on the leaf before her.
"I've seen the baby forms of these little guys with my own eyes, believe you me. I dunno about you, Mal, but I'm sure Horus would like to stop by the Eden Headquarters sometime, wouldn't you?"
Horus nodded quickly, his eyes lighting up at even the mention of an opportunity to look after children again. It had been ages since his kids were hatchlings, anyways. "I'd love to!" He bursted out without even a moment's hesitation, smiling widely.
"Then I'll have to bring you by, sometime..." Feather said thoughtfully, her gaze remaining intent on the leaf. "You're special...I can just feel it...you'll do great things when you grow up, little Alexander..."
"Alexander?" Malaika interrupted harshly. "What kind of name is THAT?"
"I like it perfectly well, for your information." The girl replied bitterly, still not taking her eyes off of the leaf. "Haven't you ever heard of Alexander the Great? He started out with a small dream, and ended up practically taking all of Europe under Macedonian control. Not saying I want our little guy to conquer any countries...but all that courage, all that determination Alexander the Great must have had...I have a feeling little Alexander here has all those same wonderful qualities, if not more. He'll make a difference to someone, somewhere, I'm sure of it. No matter HOW skeptic you are..."
Malaika rolled her eyes and paced back into her room, clearly defeated for the day. "Whatever." She mumbled behind her back, soon vanishing from sight.
"Great things..." Feather repeated happily, ignoring Malaika's dissapearance and stroking the delicate surface of the leaf. "In one way or another...I'm sure of it."

"My GOD...Finally, I have a break from little Alexander. Malaika is also asleep, Thank God, and Horus left to go deliver something. He promises to bring back candy when he finally does return! I guess it's ONE thing to look forward to..Anyways, back to Alexander and his little adventures today. Well, I stopped into the Eden Headquarters to introduce myself, and my Eden, as well.
I would have never seen it coming. Not even now. As soon as we got there Alexander just started floating and flying around the room and everything! Talk about an entrance! He started off resting on an Eden named Raven's flowerpot, then proceeded to start having a flying contest with a bird-like creature named Kashimi! Things started to get really out of hand though, and I guess he was finally starting to get tired, so I set him on top of Bird's jacket which was covering Raven's pot so he could rest. They looked so cute!
Things got better from there, and I got to spend the rest of the evening drinking some tea and relaxing. It was really nice, in all. I wonder what tomorrow will bring!"
Leaning back in her chair, sighing happily, Feather closed the leather cover of her new journal and peered over towards Alexander's sleeping form. A small smile crept across her tired face. "Whatever it is, I can't wait!"

Monday April 18, 2005
A whistling sound filled the air, then silence.
Then again, with the same result. What was going on, you ask?
Alexander continuing to test his new found ability, of course. He had been shooting around Feather's apartment all day, and showed no signs of stopping whatsoever.
Figuring any attempt to stop Alexander's continuous motion was futile, Feather could only sigh, and retire to the living room's couch to observe the little leaf. He continued to flutter around happily, bumping into walls every so often. The lavender-haired girl continued to watch, giggling merrily. What a little cutie! He wasn't hurting himself, of course. It was almost like a game of bumper cars between him and the wall, to be frank.
After an eternity, or what certainly seemed to feel like one, Alexander had finally stopped fluttering around, falling towards Feather in such a lifeless fashion that for a moment, he looked completely normal. Knowing better, of course, Feather quickly reached out and grabbed the leaf far before it hit the ground. "That was a close one there, little guy!" She squealed, rocking the leaf back and forth in her hands.
The leaf anxiously moved about in reply, just before shooting up once more and continuing to fly around.
"I should really take you to a field, or something...you'd probably have a much better time up there than around this place, it must be so crammed!"
Alexander made no attempt to reply, continuing to zoom around. It was almost as if he were saying he was perfectly content with this location. For the time being, anyways.
How long would this last, though? Alexander's satisfaction with such a small area. Though az bit reluctant at first, Feather had come to the realization that this easy method of releasing the leaf's energy would probably be forced to an end quicker than she desired.
But if it encouraged the growth of Alexander...then she was all for it. And that was just about all she could do.
Smiling, she continued to watch her little boy, cheering him on all the while. b

Summary of roleplay started on page 137
"My GOD."
The two words were the only pair Feather could use to describe the scene that had unfolded before her eyes that day. She stared at the paper blankly, trying to recall exact detail of what had happened:
"And I thought Alexander was bad! Turns out Teagan's just about crazy! ...As crazy as a toddler can be, anyways. He was bouncing all over the Eden headquarters today when Alexander and I stopped in for our daily visit! First he was hanging off the lighting fixtures on the ceiling, then rhomping around trying to get some food! Thank God Telk was around to feed the poor little guy, everyone knows just about the only thing I can make is coffee and tea...well anyways, back to the insanity. It seems there's never a dull moment in my life anymore, really!
As he did earlier today, Alexander continued to drift around the room, settling upon not only furniture, but apparently, people's heads as well. Don't ask- I guess he just likes using scalps for perches. A cute habit now, since he's a little leaf, but I'll have to break it before he gets older.
Who KNOWS what might happen, otherwise.
I wonder if Alexander will like food as much as Teagan does...
Uh...let's hope not."
She shuddered at the thought of being forced to cook literal pounds of food each day for her own growing boy, but eventually swallowed her fear. What had to be done had to be done, and with the way she cooked, Alexander would probably make his own meals early on, anyways.
Slightly comforted by that fact, Feather gently shut her journal and turned her desk light off. She stood up, and only before tucking Alexander in and making sure he was safely snuggled under the covers, went to bed herself.

Tuesday April 19, 2005
A gentle, but swift breeze rustled the nearby trees, causing many leaves to shudder and fall from their branches, in the process. It was a brisk afternoon in the park, and the entire area was completely alive with people. Picnics, tournaments of all varieties, and even some parents and kids playing catch together. Yep, it was all there.
And in the center of the chaos stood Feather, her hat threatening to tumble away from the swift movement of the wind. Alexander was safely snuggled in her jacket pocket, as instructed, to divert all suspicion away from him being anything special. Hah...a falcon trapped inside of a leaf. Things didn't get much specialer -or stranger, for that matter- than that.
A wonderful day in the park- at last, a day of relaxation. It was something the both of them needed, and that was certain. Try as she may, Feather couldn't hide the dark circles embedded underneath her eyes. Sleep for her was nothing more than a faint luxury of the past.
Finding a vacant place under the shade of one of the nearly sky-scraping trees that were countless in number in the park, Feather quickly set down a blanket, claiming the spot, and lay down against the towering plant's massive trunk.
"Alright, you can come out now!" She whispered into her pocket, which must've been quite a queer sight to passerby. But of course she wasn't crazy, she was merely giving her leaf permission to roam and frolic in the fresh air!
Alexander quickly obeyed without a moment's hesitation, springing from the protective pocket and flinging himself out into his new surroundings. Of course, he was mindful of the strangers that surrounded him, and stayed low to the ground. He darted about in the swaying grass, observing bugs, the dirt, and people's shoes. Pink, black, blue, oh my!
Feather watched her Alexander's roaming with a vibrant smile across her features, happy she was finally able to give the opportunity to explore the TRUE world around her. Sky knew little Alexander probably wouldn't stay a leaf for much longer, and though it made her sad, it still opened the new possibilities of the future for the two that without a doubt lay ahead.
"Come what may..." She murmered, allowing Alexander to remain in his strictly controlled 'wilderness' before deciding it was time to turn back in and get some rest at home. She gathered up the leaf, this time placing him next to the white feather on her hat which danced hypnotically in the breeze. Feather also bundled up the blanket, packed away the few snacks she had brought, and strolled out of the park.
For all she knew, by the time she did indeed return, Alexander might've grown to a form beyond her wildest dreams. But just as she had said before, with utmost confidence, 'Come what may.'

"Phew, that's the heaviest one." Lena said to herself as she pushed the orange flowerpot closer to the door. "I hope Alexander will stay inside." She grinned to herself and wiped some sweat away from her forehead. As she left a small envelope could be detected on the pot's top.
A letter Hello Feather,
We decided that it's time for Alexander to get planted. We were insecure and waited for quite a long time because of his flying habits. Hopefully it won't be too bad for him to be stucked. ^^; That's why we bought a very heavy flowerpot to make his wiggling attempts uncomfortable. I hope you enjoy the planting time, may it not last too long.
~Lena
