Okay. Before you start slapping me saying "BAD ELA! BAD ELA!" I just want to say that I had no idea where to put this but I felt I had to post it.
I made a story (though it is very unfinished) called SpectralFantasy. It's basically a retelling of Phantom in a more modern setting with different characters. Christine is Chloe Maria Davis. Erik is the MAC Specter (who doesn't have a real name... yet). I wrote a stage scene for the Abduction, SpectralFantasy style, and I just felt I needed to post it on the phanguild. Here it is.
(After dark. CHLOE is sitting in her room reading. Suddenly, out of nowhere, she hears the voice of the SPECTER.) SPECTER Chloe?... CHLOE (looking up from her book) Spirit?... SPECTER You outshine the sun, Chloe. CHLOE I couldn't have done it without you. Thank you, spirit, for this gift. SPECTER You have given me a gift too. CHLOE When will I see you come to me? When will you be right next to me? Come to me! SPECTER You soon will know, all will be true. You soon will know, I will be with you. CHLOE (standing up) When will I see you come to me? When will you be right next to me? Come to me! SPECTER You soon will know, all will be true. You soon will know, I am here with you. (The image of the SPECTER appears in the circular mirror on the wall. CHLOE turns to he mirror, singing a note. Several voices echo her note and different ones as she approaches the mirror. The SPECTER's full body appears in the room as all but a few of the voices fade out; the wall has opened. The SPECTER holds out his hand to CHLOE, who takes it and steps through the wall. The wall then closes, and the SPECTER and CHLOE descend on a moving platform out of sight. CHLOE's room disappears and curtains fall in the background as the SPECTER sings.) SPECTER Shadow falls, and all is silent, And our journey has begun. All your life you have been waiting. Now here's your chance: I've come! Our music, we will sing it out So that all the world can hear. You just stay right by my side -- There's nothing to fear. (The scene remains dark as the SPECTER and CHLOE are seen descending on the platform in the middle of the stage.) SPECTER Come give yourself to me, Come share the joy with me, Fly with me into eternity, In one musical spectral fantasy. (The SPECTER claps once, and light is shown on the stage, where SPIRITS are dancing on clouds of fog. CHLOE watches them below her with interest as she is still descending with the SPECTER, who sings after a while, with the SPIRITS still dancing below.) SPECTER Come give yourself to me, Come share the joy with me, Fly with me into eternity, In one musical spectral fantasy. (Finally they land on the stage and step off the platform: the SPECTER first, then CHLOE. The SPECTER starts conducting a few measures and CHLOE starts singing a melody. The SPIRITS dance closer and closer around them. After CHLOE sings her final note, the SPIRITS disappear and the SPECTER cuts her off, applauding.)

Oh, and in case you haven't listened to my midi-SpectralFantasy theme yet, despite the fact that I put links practically everywhere, here's my music site.

Ooh! Yay! Good lyricist! Um...mind trying to lyricize Darkness Below Me...??? Instructions (made much simpler because people all around here know Phantom and some of my aspiring lyricists didn't): The mood should be sort of what Erik feels like, lonely and neglected, and dark and abstract. But it shouldn't be a story of Erik's life or anything... I already wrote Phantom lyrics.

Elanchana I think that it was harder than anyone thought. neutral I usually write the lyrics then go with the music. Now I am like listening to it over and over and over to get the music in my head. It's beautiful music though!
