Laial walked into the pet shop, frowning at the little beep that doors to shops had to alert the employees when a potential customer entered. Not that the teenaged boy behind the checkout did anything about it.
Laial smirked. Good. Didn't need anyone freaking out yet. He held the door open for...wait for it...
Heiko came flopping into the store in hir seal-like fashion, triggering the door beeper once again.
Stupid little...restraignt. Control yourself. Good Laial. He wandered around, looking for the fish food section. Fith needed some. Badly.
Heiko flopped after Laial.

The electronic device beeped again as Roule disappeared from Nev's side, who was looking around for some cat food to feed their housecat. He had assured her that she could shop without him, and besides, it was only a petshop! Silly mom! Who could possibly get lost in there? Besides, she had told him to ask the nice clerk boy if he any trouble. Maybe he'd even pick up a pet! Or those cool dragons he had seen some of the older kids had.. Hmm...
Immediately, he noticed a large coral-and-cream coloured shell bob up and down the aisles, following it, a large pink snake. Roule cocked his head in curiousity. There was a walking thing... Wow, how weird!
((Weird is like.. his favourite word. I accidentally taught it to him. *cough* xd ))

Laial twitched at the beep again. So...another person entered the shop. He vaugly wondered if they would notice/freak out at him, but quickly got distracted by the little white mice in the see-though cage. They were so cute! Especially the little red eyes...
Heiko, meanwhile, was staring at the goldfish in one of the tanks. They were pretty small, bite-sized almost. To a hungry leviathan, they looked like potato chips. Very tasty potato chips....But that was when shi got distracted with the small furry thing. Turning around very slowly and with much effort, shi was facing the little Fuzzy.

The weasel boy squeaked as the snake turned around. It was.. so big! And.. well.. not scarySCARY but.. what was that in the snakey's eyes? Uuu..
Looking back and forth between the bobbing shell and the snake, Roule saw that they were roughly the same colour.. Wow, that was pretty cool. Roule wondered if there was a snake that was white and brown like him too!
What to do? Approach or stay away? They both were much bigger than him. Staring around at the stuff both parties were looking at, he noticed the rows of fish food around them. Maybe they had a pet fish!

Heiko stared at the fuzzed thing, before deciding it couldn't fit down hir throat. Shi hopped forward, if only to get a better view of the fuzzy.
One of Laial's prevoiusly hidden tentecles reached out and idily curled around a container of fish food while he moved on to look at the rabbits. Oooh, you could pet them! He did so with one of his hands, still not noticing Roule. Tunnel senses seemed to hit now.

Eek! Roule took an involuntary step back. He didn't like the snakey's look.. but why was he scared?! He shouldn't be scared! He could take this snake.. right?!
Scowling, he stepped forward and stuck his tongue out in a mocking manner. Nuhuuh! There was no way a mere snake could make HIM back down!
..and he knew it! Snakes were naturally pink. Ma had said they were brown, but this one was obviously pink. He could laugh at her later.

Heiko grinned and took a flop closer, also sticking hir white toungue out at the fuzzy thing. It was probably some sort of greeting anyway. Fuzzy was fun!
Laial finally noticed Heiko wasn't by him. About to call for him, he noticed a pink tail pointing into an isle. Smirking, he peeked into the isle, only to find a little.... fuzzy kid sticking his toungue out at Heiko. "Eh? Who are you?"

Returning a large raspberry, Roule squeaked as the shell moved! There was.. woah, a person?! That was weird! His mouth became elastic as he cringed and moved back. Who were these guys?! And why were they so ... weird?
The weasel looked over the 2. The boy seemed to have the huge shell on his back. Without thinking, Roule asked the first thing that came to his mind, "Hey, is dat thing big..? and heavy? It looks like dit!" He stumbled slightly on the last word. Roule was scared, with a strange combination of curiousity.

Laial tried not to laugh, but settled for a small giggle. "Yerah, it probably weighs more than you!" He wasn't quite sure how much it weighed, but he knew it was heavy. Really really heavy. "But it's useful because I fell off a kitchen counter before and it didn't hurt." Yes, his shell was good, even if it slowed him down and caused him to sink.
Heiko returned the raspberry. This thing was weeeiiiiird~!

"Heavier dan me? WoooowOWOW.." His voice rose up and down at the wow's. He grinned and nodded, "I did that once but I fell and it hurt alot.. Ma said I was very very silly." Stepping closer, Roule inspected the shell with wide eyes before looking around the boy at the dragon / snake thing, who was returning his raspberry with a forked tongue.
"Ummm.." started Roule, cringing slightly at the strange look it was giving him, "who is that?" He wasn't scared.. uh, just unusually cautious.

Grinning again, Laial nodded. The fuzzy was what, 30 pounds at most? Heiko probably weighed more than him... "Yeah, but I didn't hurt." Ho ho! See what a shell is good for? Lots of things!
Heiko flickered hir toungue out as well. Okay, hungry again...
"Oh. That's Heiko. Don't worry, normally shi's behaved...normally..." Laial had developed a 'friendly mental torture' streak.

"Well you lucky.." Pouted Roule for a few seconds, "I had a big booboo here." The boy pointed to his forehead before looking around at the large pink snake. "Why does he have those.." He gestured to his ears and mimicked the dragon's expression. "Hehko? Hehko so big for a snakey! I only sin one in the store but it was sooooo small..."
Looking curiously at Laial's shell, he nodded in approval. "I want one too! Roule want one too.. It stop me from hurting right? Where do you get one? Maybe Ma will buy one for me!" He smiled in glee, looking around the shelves.

Laial blinked and looked at Heiko. "Eh, 'cause shi's a leviathan. Not a snake. That's why shi's bigger."
Heiko twisted around and hopped towards the goldfish again. Now if shi could only figure out how to remove the giant black thing on top...
The kid's name was Roule? Weird name...not that Laial was normal or anything. "Not sure if it will stop your current hurting, though. And I got one from when I was. I didn't buy it or anything." He also looked around the store for one, but didn't see one anywhere. He didn't think that they would either.

  "Lev..i..dan?" He sounded out the syllables slowly, as if to help himself pronounce them correctly.
"Hurting..? it won't stop den? Mebie I won get one den.." He nodded in confirmation, "how did you get dit if you didn buy it?" He hadn't heard of something you could obtain by not buying it.. Money got everything! ..right?
Watching the large snake, Roule looked over the nautilus boy. "Uweh.. Are you fum D-cor? I seen oders like you.." The boy's speech was fragmented and slurred, "den what AH-NI-MALE are you?"

"Yep~!" Laial exclaimed. Hmm...how did he get his shell? "It just came with me. Like these..." he waved his tentecles up so they imitated snakes. Yes, these were far better than his shell most of the time.
Ooooh, another Corpian! "Yep! You are too?" He didn't look as weird as some, but if he knew of them he defiently should be one. No one knew what he was, did they? "I'm a nautilus. It's like a cross between a snail and a squid." A small moving thing caught his eye. Say, this kid looked similar...
Heiko stared at the black thing sitting on the tank. How to remove...
