No, this isn't a mockery of LilyChan's thread. Nor is it a counter to it. I'd like to think of it as a companion. For those of us who enjoy western comics . . what series are you reading? Have you found any graphic novels that captured your imagination lately?
My monthly titles of late are Cable/Deadpool (though I think it's a crying shame that 'Pool has to share a book with that creep), Amazing Spiderman, Spectacular Spiderman, Transformers: Generation One, TMNT (Peter Laird is writing again!), and (predictably) Superman (but not Adventures of Superman, or Action Comics). I'm also reading all of the Batman titles for the duration of the Wargames crossover.
And this morning, I picked up and absolutely fell in love with the Death: The High Cost of Living graphic novel. I MIGHT even like it more than The Crow eek

I haven't bought a comic in sooo long, but I have recently started "borrowing" things from my friend, who does (he'll get them back, just as soon as I'm done).
So far, I've borrowed the complete run of Impulse, most of Sandman, some of the Outsiders, earlier issues of the current Teen Titans, and I just wormed my way into his Transmetropolitain issues. 3nodding

It's been years since I bought comics. Too broke...some day I'll have an income again, and I'll probably get back into it.
All my favourites, therefore, are very old series that I've had for years and occasionally reread. Empire Lanes is probably my favourite -- unfortunately, there wasn't much released. sad
