Quote: `Tut, tut, child!' said the Duchess. `Everything's got a moral, if only you can find it.' And she squeezed herself up closer to Alice's side as she spoke. Alice did not much like keeping so close to her: first, because the Duchess was very ugly; and secondly, because she was exactly the right height to rest her chin upon Alice's shoulder, and it was an uncomfortably sharp chin. However, she did not like to be rude, so she bore it as well as she could. `The game's going on rather better now,' she said, by way of keeping up the conversation a little. `'Tis so,' said the Duchess: `and the moral of that is--"Oh, 'tis love, 'tis love, that makes the world go round!"' `Somebody said,' Alice whispered, `that it's done by everybody minding their own business!' `Ah, well! It means much the same thing,' said the Duchess, digging her sharp little chin into Alice's shoulder as she added, `and the moral of that is--"Take care of the sense, and the sounds will take care of themselves."' Okay, the game is as follows: This thread is just for general conversation/insanity, so you can just chat about whatever you want in here! But, at the end of each post, insert a moral! It doesn't even have to make sense (nonsense morals are fun!), but "everything's got a moral, if only you can find it." So let's see what we can find! And the moral to that is: For every won't there is a way, for lack of want and too much say!

I feel like prancing, too! Maybe there's an epidemic going around...?
And the moral of that is: If you feel like prancing, there might be an epidemic going around.

I sent an anonymous gift today pretending to be an old man with a number of hideous ailments. He was confessing his undying love. Does that make me a bad person?
Edit: Jeez, I forgot the moral. I'm really, really sorry. And the moral is- Don't put up with people who disregard rules and rub it in their face, I guess?

I enjoy my chocolate. Does that count?
And the moral of that is: It's one thing to be able to count; it's another thing entirely to be able to duke.

Oh my, then chocolate may become the new influenza.
And the moral of that is: never trust a bar of chocolate. more likely, a talking bar of chocolate.

Talking bars of chocolate? Turtles that shut up? An oil pastel picture on my desk? My, the world really IS mad, mad, mad.
And the moral is, before watching "Mad, Mad House", never drink soda. And sometimes future impaired hearing is damn worth letting a snail in your ear.

I have a turtle that shuts up all the time. His name is Eat Me, because he is round and small, like the Eat Me cakes. This causes my sister to have a great fear that birds will swoop down and begin nibbling on his legs.
And the moral of that is: An instrument can be used as either a tool or a weapon. o.O

My crazy British grandma with red hair lives down the street. She spies on the neighbors constantly, looking for suspicious activity. Example, a different colored car going by or seeing that the neighbor got a new haircut. (true story) She knows a lot but knows nothing.
And the moral of that is, The older the wiser! neutral
