The a three foot wide spot, at the opposite end of the arena, begins to bubble, the ground turning to mud. Hands fly up from out of the muck, pulling on the stone that rims the pool. Shortly after a head follows, then shoulders and finally and entire body. Standing, with his knees slightly bent and his arms dangling at his sides, the muck slowly flows off Seshmi and back into the pool, which begins to soak into the stone leaving a slightly dark coloured spot.

Twisting his head, Seshmi cracks his neck and a croaking voice is heard.

"Let death be your herald."

He raises his head to look up at her, the wrapped bandages around his mouth creasing in a maniacal grin. With his arms still dangling at his sides his feet slide apart and his body lowers. Twisting his right foot, which is his forward most foot, sideways he puts himself in a simple power-stance, yet his arms seem lifeless.

"There is no room for grace in a battle to the death."

His hands are completely wrapped, leaving only the middle joint to the tips of his fingers showing. Swaying slightly back and forth at his hips are his katars, one on each side of his waist. No other weapons are visible... simply not visible.

The folded grin on the bandages over his mouth increase in tensity. His eyes slowly begin to go pure white, entering his usual battle state.

"It would be very ungentlemanly for me to make the first attack against a woman who clearly thinks she's a lady."

A gutteral cackle is released from his throat, although his gaze never leaves her. He could feel the release of the air and noted it, assuming there was some form of trick to her armour. Logically thinking no person would encumber themselves unless there was a trick that allowed for free movement. Yet, armour can still be penetrated.

He steps with each foot, getting comfortable and allowing his upper body to sag down so his eyes are no longer visible to her. Although, that does not mean he can't see her.

"Why would a lady join a tournament if she was trying not to get hurt? Your a piece of meat in my eyes, no more."

Enough time had been bought, the time he had spent making her talk idley was used to focus his energy to put himself in his peak fighting trance. His senses were wide open and he supposed he should make an attack.

"If you insist..."

He raises his head again and the bandages on his face can been seen moving slightly, off of his lips. Sewn through his lips are strips of black leather, but they do have a small amount of slack. They stretch as he opens his mouth wide, revealing a row of filed, sharp teeth. Taking a breath in he exhales deeply, a jet of purple gas pouring out of his mouth and heading quickly towards his opponent.

The gas was an extremely deadly poison, so if she even breathed in a small amount, it would multiply within her bodily system and begin to eat away at her nervous system, first to paralyze her, then start devouring her flesh. It was also extremely dense and hot so it could possibly even burn. Any form of heat vision would just reveal a large red mass. Yet, Seshmi could see through it, because his eyes are able to zoom in and out and view through objects if needed. The entire mass of gas was about twenty feet tall and twenty wide, and continuing to grow at it headed fairly quickly towards his opponent. With it intending to obscure her vision he could get ready for the next move.

Once the gas is clouded around his opponent, since she made no movement whatsoever it was assumed that it was all around her, he released a gob of black spit. It flew extremely quickly towards the gas, closing the distance in a mere 3 seconds. As soon as it touches the first gas particles, the area is in flames; a powerful explosion. The explosive properties of the gas were designed so that even if the particles were a little distance apart, the slightest spark would set off a chain reaction and make a twenty foot parameter of gas explode in a second.

As soon as the spit had released from his mouth, Seshmi had resumed his previous battle stance, his senses wide open.

He notices the aim of her hand before it even transform and he begins moving, with speeds that leave a faded after-image behind him as he runs. His previous heavy look while standing in his stance was only meant to help him maintain a solid position, but now in movement he is using his light weight as well as a little seal* he cooked up just before entering the match. The seal enabled him to move as though he was as light as a feather, yet still keep the solid and raw strength that he possessed.

The explosion was strong but since there was nothing to sustain it, it had dimished in a fairly short amount of time and he dashed through it, luckily after enough time that no damage would be done to him. He didn't come out the other side though. Using the smoke as another visual shield his actions were hidden, and the smoke was seeming only to get thicker rather than fade away like normal smoke would. Besides his speed, he revealed nothing of his next intended attack or any of his abilities.

SUM UP: He dodged the blast and went into the smoke.

Finally the smoke clears, and Seshmi is simply standing there as he was before, as if nothing had happened. He was in his same stance that he had been before, and it seemed like nothing has changed. It seemed to him like he was battling a long-range fighter.
