The fight begins with the two combattants arriving in their own fashions, the mechanical beast of a mean standing at eight feet prefering a technological entrance as the shifting chaotic flurry of a man took to magic. Their arrivals were nigh simultaneous, the arena strentching and contorting until wormholes were brought into being. The first was a displacement of one plane into another while the second was a gravity well connected to a second, much like theories behind a black hole connecting at another location.
The mechanical beast stood at eight feet, a monolith of metallic construction and arcane might, two hilts extending up from the white spires of his shoulders black transposed over joints and like connections. His face was nearly avian in construction with two glowing optics that seemed to follow one's every motion. With a combination of a neural interface within him teeming with a life of its own and his mechanical advantages, he was a formidable construct.
The opposing force to the monolith was a simple man, greyed hair and dressed mostly in rags that seemed to not wholy be seperate from his body at points by the way they clung to him. His height didn't seem to be defined, he changed at every passing moment, eyes glimmering with a violet light.
As the fight began the shifter known as Valesk seemed to have a huge advantage over the massively heavy mechanical beast, tossing him into the air with a mere flick of his wrist, gravity altering in a column about Vini. Corrections were made and quickly slots opened across his body with a resounding -=CLACK=-, drawing mana to the unnatural creature. Streams of azure began to circle about him as a flight spell was enacted, keeping him from falling upwards too quickly.
In a reversal Valesk, who had as yet not yet moved, swipes his hand sideways, altering gravity once again, sending Vini crashing unexpectedly into the stands, crushing three men mercilessly, leaving nothing but blood and gore upon his white armor. He quickly recovers, launching off calculated shots from a nanopistol produced from a port on his right leg. The shots seem to strike home, but it is revealed that Valesk closes the wounds with ease.
Despite the large swaths of ground torn asunder around him by three basic shots from Vini, Valesk seemed to be confident in his own abilities as he regenerated almost as if nothing had happened. He attempted a similar maneuver as before, flinging Vini high into the sky, but Vini had prepared. Analyzing attack patterns and ability themes Vini's massive processing power was able to develop a counter to the strategy in place. Manipulating the mana curves about him he began to create an antigravity field.
Valesk was in shock, for not many had been able to contest his will, for even as the mana curves only began to produce the effect, the flight spell was still active. Vini wasn't going to be thrown from the ring anytime soon. He switched methods as quickly a spossible, slamming Vini back down, obliterating a section of the stands and falling into the areas below, crushing another person with his massively increased weight. The debris slaughtered many more as Vini's mechanical joints began to lock up with too much weight afforded to them. With his servos offline his entire focus flowed into calculations of the mana curves, and quickly his field came into effect.
Valesk floated up to the creater among the stands and was met in the face with a nanoblade swiping straight through him. The sudden swipe caught him off guard, sending the two pieces falling to mull about the wreckage. He was not yet slain, however, as his upper half connected back with his lower half, creating a weak bond. A gravshield was errected around him to try and hold off assaults, but he was sure that Vini would only find a way past it.
The end of the match came quickly, it is true, for Vini relocated himself above Valesk and began a dive, falling to expose him to the antigravity field, disrupting his shield enough for Vini to empty a clip of True Negavitity rounds directly into Valesk. The explosion that issued forth obliterated a fair deal of the food court, slaying most in its way. The mechanical beast slowly departed from the crushed form among the ruins of the food court, leaving him for the medics to scrape up and salvage what wasn't the biological equivalent of slag.

The crowd clapped and cheered after an exciting and especially gruesome fight, let alone one that 'involved' the spectators.
"Valesk Keldon is defeated!" boomed the announcer as the white armored robot, splashed with blood, proceeded out of the arena. "Vini Completed advances to Round Two!"
