Ok, I saw it on the Ultra Voilit Dvd & it had a preview for a movie for FF7? neutral confused
It could be a re-make of the game,not totaly sure but that what it said. It does have the graphics from the FF games. It has Cloud, Leon & the gang. Now this is really debatable.

Advent Children, silly. It's been out for quite some time.
No worries. It's really good. (Or at least, I think so...) It continues a year or so after the game ends.

It is NOTHING like the game. As a matter of fact, it's 2 years after the game. The only thing that sucked about the movie was Tifa's voice acting.

There is a move, Advent Children.
Decent entertainment, but not all the hype makes it out to be. The graphics are stunning, though.

Advent Children is so amazingly awesome, I watched it four times in one day. xd Once in my dorm, once with my boyfriend, once with my boyfriend and his sister after she got home, and once with my sister. The graphics are so beautiful it almost makes me want to cry. Vincent is so badass, and I never liked Tifa until I saw the movie. In fact, all of the characters I hated were much cooler in the movie. Not only that, but Marlene played a pretty decent part, and that made me happy. She's so adorable. 4laugh

It's pretty awesome, but it's mostly wall-to-wall action, so don't expect *too* much extra character development. You know what to expect, for the most part, when the film calls itself a "reunion" at the beginning.

I think the whole lack of character development thing has to do with the fact that it's a movie about a three disk long game...and the characters kind of developed a whole lot during those disks. sweatdrop

If not, you'll need someone around to explain what's going on to you. I had to do that for my mother when she watched it.

Nah.
I think you'll appreciate it more if you've played the game or know more about it, but its still an awesome movie if you don't know the background story.
After all, it wasn't until the end of the movie until it hit me about where Cloud is standing at the beginning with the sword.... xp

I think the movie will be good. I never seen any of the Finnaly Fantay movies (I don't know if they have any or have many) I only seen part of it but I think it will be good.

Yeah. There are other final fantasy movies. Sprites Within and there are 2 anime. One is the Legend of the Crystals I think, and one is FF Unlimited. I hear FFU really sucks and they cut it short because it was so unpopular in Japan. I've never seen it though, so don't take my word for it.
