Mainly mine. She's like 5 feet tall and the most intimidating little woman on the planet. I have it all planned out in my head what I want to say to her and everything, but I have no idea WHEN to say it and how to go about it. Because I somehow always catch her with her glasses off and so I can never tell if the look she's giving me is "what the hell do you want from me, peon" or "I'm trying to make out your face, I'm blind".

We're in the second week of a big play right now, so she's really got no time to talk to people that aren't in the play about things that aren't play related. Right after the play is over, we have auditions for next year. So if I talk to her then, I'm afraid she'll think I have some sort of alterior motive and will think badly of me for the rest of my days as her student. Last I talked to her (this past Friday), she didn't even know that I was going to be a senior next year, because I was a transfer student mid-Sophomore year.

So I guess this is more of a question about how to promote oneself and how to not be nervous talking to one's director. Help me if you can! sweatdrop

If you mean you want the director know how good you can be, it's probably best not to say a word to her. Spend every waking moment rehearsing and show her wait a good job you can do. Directors talk, and if you get on her good side, you'll have better chances in other future shows.
