Gwen and Galvyn walked through the forrest looking for some place to rest. Gwen tempted to stop them and climb into a tree for the night. She'd done it before, and she'd do it again.
Galvyn noticed Gwen was starting to lag behind, so he picked her up and placed him on his shoulder. "You're not gonna run again, are you?" she asked.
"Not unless we're in danger again."
"I hope not," Gwen muttered. They had been to hell and back over the past few days. Gwen didn't remember the last time they really got to rest.

Samca walked calmly along the path, just infront of Galvyn and Gwen. 'I really hope to get to town soon... I might be able to have a nice bath and wash this filth away,' Samca thought to himself. He did an exagerated stretch and smelt his armpit as he did so, "Bah!" Samca said as he smelt his body odor. 'That. Is. Horrid! Ok, time for alittle spellcasting...' Samca thought to himself. He pulled a small piece of soap out of his robes and made afew hand movements over it, then spoke afew muffled words and relinquished the soap back into his robes. He stretched and smelt himself again.
"Aaa... much better..." Samca said to himself in satisfaction. Samca looked back to Gwen and Galvyn and flashed a smile as he waved to them. 'They need some rest, or, at least she needs some, and, we shall be to town soon, and it can't be too soon...' Samca thought on as he continued foward.

((This was my last post in the old SW thread. I am still waiting for W!sh to reply to it...))
Amerkand / Tavern District / Tavern Inn / Approx. 5:30 PM
Yiska took a quick glance around them at the humans who were dining at the other tables. He wasn't used to eating with them as much as they were with an anthro it seemed, and he returned their stares and disgusted looks with a menacing look of his own, his eyes narrowing and his canines showing a bit. That made them turn their heads away. He turned back to Mioke and acted as if none of that happened. He was here for a meal and he would have none drive him away from it.
Mioke wanted to know how he had so much money. He wasn't rich and he didn't live rich, he didn't see why people wasted it on baubles and other things just to impress others. He was more sensible with his money. His tribe generated income by keeping the boundaries of Ulumaki village safe from danger. Those that ran the city, charging rent for the vendor stalls and putting a tax on the civillians, had more than enough money to pay them for their services. Besides, the Yitoki were feared due to their savage history and that fear gainsed a type of respect. You did not want to get on the Yitoki tribe's bad side. Never.
"Much of it was earned by myself and I was given a good amount from my father for my journey. Around the desert tribes and within Ulumaki village we the Yitoki are greatle feared and respected, but we know that many far away from our borders, such as this great ciry, remain ignorant of our existance other than word from the trading caravans. In that case, money will change the minds of these fools, I do not have time for those who might have a grudge against me for what I am."
He pauses when a servant girl comes to their table with a polite smile on her face and asks them what they would have to eat and drink and states the daily special, roast leg of lamb marinated in an apricot-rosemary sauce with spring vegetables on the side. Yiska finds that a rather tempting dish and orders some for himself as well as a mug of beer. Then he looks to Mioke, waiting for her order.

Gwen raised an eyebrow. "What was that about?" she asked Galvyn. Galvyn only shrugged, which sent her to the ground. THUD.
"Gwen?" Galvyn asked, looking at her, as she got up off the forrest floor.
"That's it!" she said. "No more riding on your shoulders." She rubbed her shoulders to help make the pain go away. She started walking and caught up fairly quickly to Samca while Galvyn stayed back a bit.

Somewhere near the Edge of Shelk'ma Forrest 7:40 pm, just after nightfall
Samca looked to Gwen as she caught up with him, "Hello mi'lady. That was quite a little spill you had there, are you ok?" Samca asked, after asking her he held up his hand and reached into his robes, finaly fishing what-ever it was he was looking for out, "Wether it hurts now or not, I would prefer that you eat this," he tossed the folded leaf to her, "It will help with the hurt today, and stop the soreness from coming to you in the morrow."
Samca looked back to Galvyn, "You shall eat one too," Samca tossed Galvyn a folded leaf slightly smaller then Gwen's, "It will stop fatigue and tomorrow's soreness after such a long walk." Samca turned back foward to regard Gwen. 'Gwen seems to be getting perpetually frustrated with Galvyn... just an unlucky guy I guess...' Samca sighed and looked to the night sky's moon, "Hmph, a night of rest shall make all better..." Samca whispered to himself as he continued. He then looked to Gwen, "Would you like to stop and set up camp? We shall not be to town for at least afew more hours, and it seems all this walking is making us all the more wary"

"I agree with the camp idea!" Gwen said, after eating her leaf.
"I'll take first watch," Galvyn said. "We need someone up at all time keeping guard, and it definitely doesn't need to be Gwen. "
"Hey! I can keep watch!" Gwen said, putting a hand on her hip.
"No, you're too tired. And you've had quite a day. We've all had. You two can go to sleep and I'll wake Samca up after a few hours," Galvyn replied.

Samca nodded to Galvyn in agreement, "Yes, haveing watch is a good idea. Having elven eyes scanning the area is abit better then the alarm spell I was going to cast." Samca nodded to Galvyn again, then looked to Gwen, "Do you guys have a tent to pitch up? Because, if not, I have a small spell that can do much the same thing, if you would like, I mean..." Samca waited for a reply.

Gwen and Galvyn looked at each other. "Tent?" Gwen said.
"We should have thought to ask your grandmother for one..."
"Or bought one..." Gwen said, looking at Galvyn.
"Hey! You know I'm not the brightest person out there! I worry about food and safety, not necessarily shelter!" Galvyn replied in defense.

Samca stared onto them in suprise when their sudden arguement arose, "Ok, ok, there is no need to argue. Please." He stared Gwen in the eyes, then Galvyn, then regarded them both, "No argueing. It is quite unnessisary and a waste of energy. Animousity is a lost cause. As I said before, I have a spell that serves as a shelter. It is a spell well known to me. And will take but a secound. See, no need for arguements." He turned his back to them, found a spot with level ground, drew some symbols an the ground, in a circle, then chanted abit, "Espititarius Kal'Kim'Kalae Alikane Kinine Spi Uke Aluis." Just as the spidery words of magic left his mouth, a shimmering dome apeared before him.
Samca turned to them, "It will keep the temperature fairly warm, but not hot. It will make any within it unvisible to those outside of it. And, if any besides us three enter it, the spell disapates, and an alarm will sound," Samca stabbed a bunch of sticks around the perimeter of the shelter to mark it's location to those that would be on watch, then looked to Gwen and Galvyn, "It would be nice to have a fire, but, we do not want more attention, so, I vote no fire for tonight. I am going to go meditate for abit, a half-hour or so," Samca regarded them both for a secound, "Please don't kill one another while I'm off." Samca smiled and rubbed the back of his head, then turned and walked to a small grove of trees and started his meditation, 'Hmph, arguements... maybe I can finally get alittle solitude, and maybe they can work out their problems while I'm doing so...' Samca thought to himself, and hoped.

"Well, I'm going to bed for the night," Gwen said, starting into the dome.
"Gwen, wait." Gwen stopped. " We need to talk. Now"
"About what?" she asked, sitting on the forrest floor.
Galvyn sat down next to her. "Why have you been so moody? You've been really quick to fuss at me lately."
"As compared to what? We've always had arguments like this. Then you'd go get drunk, I'd carry your drunken arse out of the place and find us shelter. The only difference now is that you can't get drunk, we can't go anywhere near Amerkand, and Samca is traveling with us."
"You haven't argued with Samca. "
There was a noticible stillness in Gwen before she managed to studder, "Th-th-there's been no reason to!"
"I see..."
"You see what?"
"I beginning to believe you like this guy!"
"What? NO! Galvyn, you're nuts. I'm going to bed," Gwen said, quickly entering the dome.
She quite possible does... Galvyn thought, sighing. He moved to sit at the foot of a tree and keep watch.

Samca had heard murmurs of an arguement as he began his meditation. Had he focused his mind, he could have heard it quite clearly, but, it's business was not of his own. He entered his meditation and awoke from it about half an hour after he started, as he said he would.
Samca sat up quickly. "Woo..." Samca stumbled abit, dots blotting out some of his vision, his head feeling light. "Sat up abit too fast there!" he said to himself as he held his head for a secound and steadied himself. He looked up to the camp, spotting Galvyn he made his way over to him. Once he made it to Galvyn's side he tapped him on the shoulder and whispered to him, "I can take over watch now if you would like to go get some rest?"

"Thanks," Galvyn said, standing up. He entered the dome to find Gwen shivering in her sleep. She'd always been cold-natured. He took off his cloak and covered her with it. He'd be fine without it. He laid down about a foot away from her and fell asleep.
