So, is anyone with me? Making it into a movie would kind of ruin it for me... I hate when books are made into movies... you get all these dumb kids who only watched the movie get all into it, but they don't really UNDERSTAND, and you're like, NO READ THE BOOK YOU IDIOTS, THE MOVIE SUCKED!!! Also, I don't really want to have actual people associated with the characters... I mean, I can look at pictures of possible actors/actresses and be like, yeah she would work as Bella, or, no way, that's not Edward, but to watch a whole movie full of them? Anyone know how I feel?

Heh. Like totally. I'll become some... no offense. Just sterotyping kay? It's become some blond bimbo flick where all the popular chicks will go. OMG. Edward is HAWT..... and they would only look at the outside... instead of the inside... But Edward is hawt so meh. xp

But Edward is hawt so meh. xp Edward is hawt xd but they can't all go thinking they love Edward when they don't know the real Edward... He's MINE... MINE!!!! -psycho moment- And in the movie, I'm sure it won't be the same as the book, so I mean, you'll overhear people saying "OMG I'm so glad Bella ran away with James since he's just misunderstood. I hate that Carlisle guy." Or something to that extent.

I'd love Twilight as a movie, only I know they're probably going to butcher it. But you know, movies give more publicity towards the book, I probably wouldn't have read LOTR if the movies hadn't come out.
So if you get people intrigued enough by the movie perhaps the book will also have a bigger fanbase. Besides, upon reading the book, they'll see all of the funnies and the cuteness that the movie left out.

Yes! I agree! It should NOT be made into a movie! When books are made into movies, they always mess it up! I hate that! Cause they change it around sooooo much! I'm going to use anotehr example, just cause it's the only one I can think of. The Princess Diaries series. Girly? A bit. Whatever. The books aren't as much girly, and are 100 times better than the movie (and waaaaay different), but when I try to tell people to read the books, all they say is "Oh, why would I? I already sae the movie!" Ugh. Twilight is too good a book to be turned into a movie. They'd probably give the role of Edward to some pretty boy *cough*Orlando Bloom*cough* who wouldn't be able to get the role right! Oh, and sorry about rambling, I tend to do that often.

I agree with it not being made into a movie..and don't. Sure..it'll be butchered, but if they get Stephenie Meyer to help (Which is what us Lexiconians (xD) want), then it'll be better...Sure..most people won't read the book, but then that is them missing out..I hope what they do with the Twilight movie is get new actors (Kind of like Harry Potter..>.>) and put them in the spots of characters..I can see Henry doing Edward,(sorta, kinda..Stephenie kinda convinced me into it..xD) but I'm hoping they do a reallllly good job on casting. Never know, we could get lucky, cha?

Jereni_06 -is not a big fan of large fanbases- You may not be a fan of it, but a larger fanbase means more money for Meyer, which also leads to more of her writing. It's expensive to publish a book. I don't want it to get as out of hand as Harry Potter is (I swear the books are becoming increasingly horrible because she has to much pressure on her). Raezyn101 I can see Henry doing Edward,(sorta, kinda..Stephenie kinda convinced me into it..xD) but I'm hoping they do a reallllly good job on casting. Never know, we could get lucky, cha? I'm okay with Henry ... but I do like my pick better... and mine has only been in one movie.
