I just read online that Jordan has said that book 12 is going to be the last book in the series. Has anyone else heard this?

Alina Sedai yes it is. but there are going to be two more prequals. i think one is about Tam and Kari and the other i think is about the bore being opened. That's cool. So an end is in sight. When I started reading the series I had no idea when the last book might be written. I am only on book 5 now so it's good to know that the series will have an end soon.

Realize about the situation, he had to end it before he dies, he couldn't just leave it hanging...I might just be being pessimistic, but there's a good chance he will die before he finishes the prequels...

Don't let Harriet hear that, or she might run you through with the dragon on her front gate...
I once knew someone online that lived a couple of blocks away from RJ; the man has a dragon emblazoned on the gate to his house.

RJ's doctors have been telling him he's in a tenuous health situation for over 10 years now. He's a tough old coot.
