Suiren Marsh
This is a beautiful place to walk through - despite your feet getting drenched by the marsh water. Suiren is such a beautiful place because it remains pure and unpolluted, despite the fall of Takigakure located not too far away. The water is untainted and requires no boiling process to make it safe for drinking. Expect to see some form of wildlife within this stunning forest marsh - animals as well as greenery. Divine water lilys line the entire marsh from the center to the borders of it.
Note: This thread may be used for traveling and or training purposes.
Travel Lengths
Yuki: ½-1 day
Ame: 1½-2 days
Kusa: 1½-2 days
Oto: 1½-2 days
Konoha: 2 days
Iwa: 2 days
Suna: 3½-4 days
Kumo: 3-5 days
Kiri: 3½-4 days by land and 1-2 by sea

Kaze trudged through the mucky yet pure swamps of Takigakure, searching for the fallen village. Her dangerous golden eyes were on constant alert in case any followers had decided to end their lives this day. The swamps likely would have been more pure, but for the fact that the waterfalls were no longer working and the hero's water was not yet restored. Kaze knew she had alot of work to do before the village would be back up and running....

Kataki sat down on a rock, looking out over the marshes. he sighed and closed his right eye and looked around with his left. suddenly he cracked his fingers and stomped his fists together in anger
"so i still can't see anyhing with my left eye. cursed Tsurugi, he took away my ability to see when he chased after me, why did i let him do that"
suddenly a voice whispered around him, it was a voice that sounded like the owner of it was long gone
"because you were weak, Kataki, you were weak and lost your sight because of that, the scar proves it"
Kataki's eyes widened and he began to breathe a litle faster
"it was his fault, not mine, he took my eye sight, he'll pay for what he did to me"
suddenly there was the sound of a crumbling tree, and birds flew up, from Kataki was no trace

Tana was hunting, and that was it really.
He was too big to hunt stealthily and instead relied on using wind jutsus to shoot his prey down.
He was just aimlessly flying around, looking for food.

Kataki sat silent in meditation at the side of a river branch towards the north of the marshes, it was silent and he loved it, it was the only moment when his voices would calm down. he hated his voices, but they were always right. they never left Kataki alone, but they always spoke the truth.
he sighed and breathed in again, the silence was falling over him as a silk curtain, relaxing and comforting him, his Katana lied besides him, right side, cutting edge towards himself, as was tradition in the Jikan Ryuu Kenjutsu. he had a grudge towards a Jikan, but he never denied his heritage, in fact, he was proud of it.

{Hm... well, time seems to fly... but a day has passed since Sera started flying from Oto. Which could have been yesterday here.}
"Koumori Shotoppa!" Tana flapped his wings and fired a small blast of wind at a passing bird, watching as it dropped to the floor, before firing a wild burst of noise anywhere to find more prey. He'd pick up the bird later.
Found one! A straggler! Barely keeping afloat, it was outside of the range of the trees, but was easy prey. He flew confidently towards it and fired another burst of sound to reconfirm its location.
To his surprise, however, it jerked up and froze in the air momentarily before flying with renewed speed. Towards him. Hmmm. Suicidal prey.
Then it started talking to him. Gads! It was a bat!
Yes, Tana had always wanted to use the word 'Gads'... never mind...
Back to the suicidal prey who could hear high-pitch sounds...
"I'M A BAT YOU RETARD!!" it started shrilling loudly. "A CLAW BAT! LIKE YOU!!! Except you're huge..." it said in an undertone that was still audible.
"And you're tiny..." Tana muttered under his breath.
"I come from Kumogakure!" the thing said. "I've got a message from eh... Rikki Rick. To his brother!"
It slowly came into echolocation-view and became clearer. It was a tiny bat and couldn't have been more than a year old.
"Rikki?" Tana asked. "To Amadeus?"
"Yeah, I guess so. I've heard his name before!" the bat responded cheerfully despite the fact that Tana had just tried to hunt... her.
"Let's just go to Amadeus..." Tana suggested. "You look like you're about to drop anyway... it's not far compared to what you've done if you've come from Kumo." He flew off in the direction of Amadeus' happy hippy campment.
(Remember this is all too high for normal humans to hear and is a bit too far away from the base camp anyway...)

Amadeus was looking for Kataki, wondering if he would want to accompany him to Kumo. Note that Amadeus did not need Kataki's company in the first place, but seeing as he had already made up his mind he was going to ask Kataki if he wanted to come along. Nonchalantly echolocating he made his way to Kataki meditating, not making too much noise but not exactly being stealthy since that was dangerous. To himself.
"Kataki..." he said. "I've got something to ask you. Can we talk?"

Kataki opened his eyes and looked at the sky, his back towards Amadeus
"Amadeus? that's you right? i wasn't busy so i guess i have time, since we are supposed to work together there is no harm in it."
he stood up and with a fluent motion he shoved his Katana through his obi, and fastened it, then he turned around and nodded
"what did you want me to talk about?"

"Weeelll..." Amadeus said. "I was thinking of paying a visit to Kumo, and maybe you'd like to come along with me? If you have anything that needs doing, of course."
He grinned. "My brother's just mailed me and I just want to visit him."

"you want me to accompany you to that shithole of Kumogakure? there where the one i hate the most lives?"
suddenly his look went all calm again and he nodded
"very well, count me in"

Amadeus was surprised but he grinned. "Well I'll meet you here tomorrow, then. I suppose I should be alarmed at what business you have there... but I won't pry into your affairs too much. Now, anyway. I'll be there anyway, won't I?" he grinned.
He left Kataki and went back to his place to pack. His emotions could possibly be summarised in this emoticon which 5oup often uses: <(^_^)>

Kataki sighed and nodded, from all his teammates, he could get along best with Amadeus, but t wasn't his thing to act happy, cheerfull, or anything in that trend
he walked back to the place where he usually meditated and released some of his chakra in a nearby tree, it opened with a creaking sound and revealed a lot of equipment, stored there not too long ago. Katai took out a senbon pocket and a small scroll. put the pack around his belt and the scrol in his hip-pouch. then he closed the tree again
"so, i'm prepared, now back to meditation"

Amadeus appeared again with his bat Tana and the little batling, carrying a small bag (filled with a scroll and miscellaneous ninja tools such as flashbangs), kusarigama in hand. His eyes twinkled cheerfully and he said, "Sorry I'm a little late... so let's get going?"

Kataki stood up from mockso and sighed, while looking up to the sky
"hai, let's go"
he turned around and walked past Amadeus, looking at Tana for a split second.
"it's not a bad thing you're late, it's not like i'm in a hurry or something"

{Ok, we'll just leave Ivory ne? And we have to get to Kumo quick, before Naomi even returns sweatdrop xD Sorry..}
They started travelling... and day turned into night and blah blah blah. They crossed the marshy lands of Takigakure, past the slightly colder area of Yuki and across the barren land that no one bothered to claim. Entering the desert of Oto, they travelled steadily northwards until reaching the more moderate in climate Kumogakure.
{To Kumogakure... sorry for controlling you there ^_^; If you had anything you wanted to do in like the travelling just say and i'll edit this... oh and you can post in Kumo first ^^}
